Two new Pokmon were sighted in Hilya! Researchers say it might be a new species. A bug/dragon type or perhapse even a bug/magic type. Here are the photos captured when the swarms decended.

That's what we get, now let's make up some Pokmon!

Going for more of a blight or plague type background, I wrote dexes to incorporate this as best I could. The types for each could be Plague and they could learn Blight very early on, if they do not start with it. The dexes are in order:

Swarming into rich
fields, they clear
the harvest away
------------------
within minutes.
What is not eaten
mysteriously dies.

A long foretold
plague, the land
where it feeds is
------------------
diseased and inept
at sustaining life
for many years.

I like the first one, Cul. Perhaps its name could be Plaguonfli - as in dragonfly? I also think it should be GIANT bug pokmon, such as Beedrill, just to add flavor. Maybe even twice the size of Beedrill? Let's see, Beedrill is 3'3 and 65lbs. So, how about 6'6 and 130lbs.? I think a giant insect, such as this one, would be cool.

Actually, this and your Pyrefly came from the same Culthulhu sketch. I really prefer the more cartoon look for Pyrefly, and Schimre didn't want the sketch going to waste, so he converted it into another pokmon. Not the first time that sort of thing has happened, either.

I like Blauge. I also like the Midge idea. Maybe there could be a third form called Midgard. Like the Midguard Serpant. I could be really long. Too corny?

Well, first of all, Midgard is actually how the serpent spells it, so that might not work. Second, that'd be a rather strange direction to take the pokmon in, wouldn't it?

Drat, I came up with a name the other day while I was just sitting around and I forgot to write it down, now I can't remember it. When it occured to me it seemed perfect for the first form and I would have posted it, but someone else was online at the time. Trying to think bck, the best I can come up with is Locurse, but I know that is not it.
