I've been trying to come up with two Ground-type pokmon that are made of sand, but to no avail. The first one would be just a pile of sand and the second one would be a sand monster with a sandcastle on it's back. I'e been getting nowhere with anything, and all I've got is the idea. I was going to make them Ground-type counterparts to Mosslus and Mosstrous but I don't know... Do you guys think you could come up with any ideas?

Well, a pokemon made completely out of sand seems like it would be destroyed pretty easily so, let's back up that Ground type with a Magic type. I think the first form should be called Lumpile (Lump+Pile) and the last form maybe Sancast or Sandcast (Sandcastle).

Lumpile
Species: Sand
Type: Ground/Magic
Ht: 2'03
Wt: 28 lbs.
Evolves into Sandcast Lv 30
(I would make it evolve on the same level as Mosstrous but it doesn't say)

Attacks:
Sand Attack:--
Harden: --
Mud Slap: 8
Sand Tomb: 12
Quick Spell: 17
Magic Circle: 23
Nullify: 30
Sand Blast: 35
Quick Sand: 39
Sand Castle: 43

Desc: A lump of sand that's in the shape of Grimer. It has hollow eyes (all black) and a hollow mouth. It has a edgy mouth and it's hands have no digits in fact could you call them hands? It has no legs. it has a starfish on it's back. Females have their starfish on their chest.

Dex: This pokemon disguises itself as a plain lump
of sand, waiting for it's prey to draw near.
When close enough, it lunges up and swallows

it's prey whole. After eating, it stays put until it
grows hungry again. It may not eat again for a
couple of days if it's meal is big enough.

Wt: 110 lbs
Evolves from Lumpile at Lv. 30

Attacks:

Body Slam: 30
Sand Blast: 38
Quick Sand: 42
Sand Castle: 46

SandStorm: 54

Decs: It is much more bigger than Lumpile. It has a very large mouth a tounge that can be seen. It has Spikey fingers and it has a sand castle on it's back. It has the same eyes as Lumpile but they are more angry looking.

Dex:

SANDCAST'S sandcastle is where it's young lives
after being born. It attracts it's prey by burrowing
underground with only it's sandcastle in view. Once

before consuming it. Many small children are warned
to stay away from sandcastles on the beach.

Wow, that's awesome! I don't really like the name Lumpile, but I can't think of anything right now. I do like Sandcast because it also works as Sandcastle + Cast (a spell).I think we can just get rid of Sand Storm from their movelists and give them Sand Stream as their Special Abilities. Their dexes are a little, well... gruesome, but their okay with me. Maybe instead of the eating children part, we can replace it with something about it follows it's prey until it is caught? Like this:

I very much like the picture's of them, but I think that for Sandcast the sandcastle should cover it's entire back, not just be on it's back. Like, it should be a castle coming out of it's back, but made of sand.

Hmm... you sure you dont want want to make these ground/ghost? This pokmons sketch pretty much steals the paradigm of it. If you want it to stay as a magic-type I really suggest making it more I dunno... people-friendly? Like a pokemon that helps people with their sand scultpures or something, and that way you could name it dunbris (dune+debris) or coastruct (coast+construct) although that doesnt sound to well if it evolves to sandcast. If you want to keep either its predator or ghostly nature the only name I could think of is Sandail(sand+ail).

Not all pokemon have to be friendly because of their types. Pokemon have different personalities such as people. Just because a certain type of people such as race or religion, may be known for being friendly, not everyone of that race is that way. Same goes for pokemon. Sure, there may be pokemon of the magic type that's friendly but some are mean and so is this pokemon.

But I do get your point: Everyone belonging to these species is a fierce predator and I think its cool, mine was just a suggestion that would actually work if you decided to change the whole sketch (well, can you picture that thing helping people without shuddering?) but my main point was regarding your sketch and how it looked like an archetype for a ghost/ground pokmon, but its just a suggestion as well...

Color might be off a bit on this new Lumpile, but I got ride of the nose and made him a little bit more angry. I also made it bigger then what is should be so you guys can see it better.

Oh! Well, I am just trying to Imply it is Magic! Maybe the Ability could be Pickup and Swept Away*! *=There is a 10% chance that when Surf, Hydro Pump, Waterfall, or any other powerful water move is used, the Pokemon is swept away from battle! I like that! Wondering what ShinE is doing... Let's just wait for him...that should take a while.....

What I meant is that DCs pokmon look like ghosts and KRSs, like monsters. About the name, the other way round sounds better for me, like in "Spellump".

Or kazaand... lol, just a suggestion there.

I am not reviving randomly here, just helping an old idea that is both unique, and helps a rare type with new suggestions! Btw, I added more to the last sentence and changed Near to nearer on Lumpile's Dex Data. Also, Sandcast's last sentence is changed, because I thought the old one is slightly repetitive.
