Why not have Vextile learn Lick somewhere in its moveset? I don't know about you, but the long extension above Vextile's lower teeth looks like a tongue to me...

I couldn't do Vextile or Strangloth but here is a rather convincing Ribbite.

If you want feedback on the sprites, sometimes, it's better to shrink the sketch to sprite size, then you make new outlines, recolor etc. and done, it will look more similar to the sketch than a scratch sprite.

Hope you like the pointer..

And keep doing sprites....

I don't like the name Ribbite, it looks like a name for a frog Pokemon (Ribbit + e).
In fact, a frog-like monster from an old game (Mario RPG for SNES) has already this name.

May I suggest Ribobite or Ribonite?

You know, it does sound kind of froggish *adds that word to the dictionary*

But the two names you suggested sound like minerals...

Nibblon? (Nibble + Ribbon)
Ceralace or Lacerace? (Lacerate + Lace)
Soulace? (Soul + Lace)
Crunshade (Crunch + Shade)

Come to think of it, the name Lacerace seems to suit what is currently being called Vextile.

Actually when suggestions are open I'm puttung Lacerat into Ye Olde Notebook Part 3 so I'd really rather there'd be no other laceration Pokmon.
