Maybe we can make that thing that has no resemblance to any insect whatsoever ( I thought of adding antennae, but believe me those look absolutely ugly!) the new Tutnkamoth.

Nice sketches! Evolving by gender surely seems appropriate here. Your idea regarding Tutnkamoth sounds good to me too.

Oops, I guess that saying they were gender-based evos was kind of obvious...
We had the same thought about the queen moths name been related to Nefertiti along with the male one with Akhenaten, problem was I couldnt think of a proper one to suggest, so I support your idea of switching it with the original moths name.

Maybe you should consider these ideas for that queen of the Nile pokmon:
Name: Mayphis (Mayfly+Memphis) or
Glowpatra (Glow+Cleopatra) (I know it looks nothing like a firefly nor a glowworm, but it does look more like Cleopatra than Nefertiti, my dex description also holds true facts about mayflies along with some urban legends (not really sure) about Cleopatra. And maybe that "glow" part could relate to its gems).
Dex type: Queen (moth) pokmon
Dex:
These pokmon live near ancient
desert tombs and have a very short
life span, its jewels are thought to hold
------------------------------------
the power of slowly draining the life
force of other creatures to enhance
its own.

Embalm sounds like a restoration ability to me... maybe it could revive fainted pokmon! With some consequences of course...
Now for the mummoth... I really dont know but with its evolving method, I cant help but think it should be related to an egyptian god of death or something.

I've made the new pics!!! I've given the info a slight overhaul....

List of Changes:

Old Tutnkamoth is replaced...

Evolution method was changed...It now requires the Life Ankh and a specific gender

I changed the ability to Magic Guard and Rivalry.....( I need opinions, bacause I'm not sure)

Made a new move for the mummy, its called Embalm, but I don't have the slightest idea of what it can do....

To sum it all up, I just made this idea incomplete again...

Maybe it should be made so that Sarcocoon evolves at level 17 into the Mummy pokmon without holding anything? Kind of like breeding Mummeow/Kattaver/Pharaleoh without the Egypt Amulet to get Miaundead?

The dex really good, but about the short life span, I think it doesn't work for me, just because the 3 insects all have ankhs on their bodies, the ankh was a symbol of immortality then...

I suggest 4' 09" for Nefertrix's HT and 18.7 lbs. as WT.

Maybe you could up Tutnkamoth's WT to 42.0 lbs. It looks heavier in its new form.

As for the mummy moth: HT - 5' 02" and WT - 30.9 lbs.?

I drew the Mummy Moth on MSPaint, coloured it and uploaded it to imageshack. So now I present, by amalgamation of the words Corpse and Perizoma parallelolineata, Corpizo!

Combining those two for a name sounds good ^-^ Hm... a different combi could be Corperiz (Corpse + Perizome + Perish). Maybe that sounds more ancient Greek-ish.

I just thought of a description of Embalm, which I made similar to the PF move Fossilize and Nintendo's Lunar Dance:

EMBALM
Magic Type
Accuracy 70%
5 PP
Random enemy move DISABLED each turn for next four turns
On fifth turn, one-hit K.O. but fully heals next opponent and raises foe's ATK and SP. ATK one level.
Effect cancelled by enemy switch

Readies foe for an afterlife.
Takes some time.

Even with the healing backfire, it seems too strong. Perhaps you could also give it 70% accuracy and have it drastically (you define what that means) up the next enemy's stats?
