I thought the same thing. but put it here cause its based on poison ivy.
but the fact that its a plant based makes more sense. hmm...
maybe rename this poison type one Secretion or Ooz(e? however you spell it)
and then save Ivy Shell until it opens?

Than the effect should be different. If you want to go with ooze, you need an in-battle ability that can help you thats related to ooze.

yeah oozing is different from sprouting, I forgot to change the effect.
well you can use your imagination to figure out what oozing looks like
