This is complicated.
If the enemy is of the:
Normal Element - does 50 damamge
Fire Element - poison explodes on contact doing 200 damage to both/all Pokmon in battle.
Water Element - poisoned, does more damage each turn.
Electric Element - does 60 damage with 10 recoil
Grass Element - poisoned, does less damage each time. (starting at 10)
Ice Element - does 50 damage, user FRZ for three turns
Fighting - does 20 damage, enemy poisoned
Poison Element - gives 20 HP to opponent
Ground Element - 10 damage, 10 recoil to user
Flying Element - 30 damage, opponent's Speed reduced
Psychic Element - 30 damamge, opponent's Defence reduced.
Bug Element - 50 damage, accuracy reduced to 75%
Rock Element - no damage, 10 recoil to user

Dragon Element - 50 damage, user PAR
Dark Element - 25 damage to target and user
Steel Element - no damage, 20 recoil to user

50% chance of either type for dual element Pokmon.
