Hi everyone I am new here so bear with me, I have made a new fossil type pokemon. There will be more soon!

Pokemon 1

Name: Plesion
Source of name: Mutation of Plesiosaurs (the sea dwelling reptile)
Element: Water/Ice
Type: Deep Sea (this is free for improvement)
Height: 10 5
Weight: 401.0 lb
Ability: Thick fat
Evolution: Evolves at level 40 into Plesisoran
Pokedex:
Page 1
This pokemon was very common
In the age of dinosaurs although
They are now extinct
Page 2
They can be regenerated using
A fin fossil.

Attacks:
- Tackle
- Growl
10 Water Gun
13 Supersonic
15 Rock Slide
19 Leer
25 Double Slap
32 Whirlpool
39 Mean Look
47 Hydro Pump
52 Aurora Beam

Once this pokemon evolves
It grows an extra fin

Scientist are still trying to
Find out why.

Plesiosaurs weren't dinosaurs, they merely lived at the same time. Therefore, that should more accurately read:

"Mutation of Plesiosaurs (the ancient sea dwelling reptile)"

Sorry to be so anal about this.

If you want this to be a fossilized pokemon, like all the others, it must be part Rock-Type. That would mean changing them from Water/Ice to Rock/Water and giving it some Rock-Type attacks.

Don't worry about this, Kid. Even though it's true that all of Nintendo's fossil pokmon have Rock as its first type, that rule doesn't apply to PF, for the sake of creativity. Your suggested fossil pokmon can have any combination of elements you want, and Rock doesn't necessarily have to be there. For instance, #PF180 Saberfang is a fossil pokmon and its elements are Ground/Fire.

Okay, let's see:

- We're not too thrilled by their names. How do the following names sound instead:
* Plesiorain (Plesiosaur + Rain)
* Elasmorain (Elasmosaur [the larger version of a plesiosaur, which the creature later on changed into] + Rain)

- 'Deep Sea' as their classification is perfectly fine, as are their HT/WTs. Water/Ice as their types is good too, as we discussed.

- I'd like to add Damp as a secondary ability.

- The evolution method is fine, and 'Fin Fossil' as new item sounds great ^^

- Dexes:
Plesiorain
PLESIORAIN was a common sight in
the Cretaceous era. This POKMON was
seen swimming in deep, vast lakes.
----------------------------------
Everywhere a PLESIORAIN appeared it
is said it became misty and rain
started falling from the sky.

Elasmorain
Upon evolving, it gained another pair
of fins. Although its amount of
fins made it very maneuverable,
----------------------------------
it is said that ELASMORAIN severly
lacked speed because of it, making
it vulnerable to predators.

- Finally, their Move Lists: they're mostly okay, but we'd like to change two things:
* Double Slap and Rock Slide need to be switched, due to their powerlevels.
* We'd like to change Mean Look into Mist, as I think that fits these better.

That's about it.
