I had 2 ideas for a snake pokemon.

Name:Slither (as in it slithers along)
Type

oison/grass(did they ban that?) (if so i'll make it a poison/ground type)
Classifictaion:An ancient grass snake
Description:Only found in a rare tomb this snake has been gaurding something mysteriously for centuries.

Evolves at lev.35

Name:Pharox(pernouced phar-rowx)
Type

oison/ground
Classification:Pharoh Snake
Looks:It has the pharohic crown like king tutunken,and has the black eye paint ,and the golden beard.
Description:This rare creature ,centuries ago was the king and gaurdian of the snakes and mysterious throne.

people today don't know weather or not this creature is still alive and gaurding it's temple.

Hm....interesting. And yes...grass types are currently banned, even if the suggested Pokmon is half that type.

Slither...isn't a very creative name. And you might want to elaborate on these descriptions...snake Pokmon tend to look a lot like Ekans & Arbok that have mainly been recolored. Also...on the note of the rarity of these two, the rules advise against very rare Pokmon. And...they sound VAGUELY legendary, although I know they're not intended to be.

You might want to include move lists for the two and other information about them as well. But like I said...they're...interesting...you might want to spend a little more time working on them though. Good luck.

Second, this sounds a bit much. A rare temple guardian? Sounds kinda legendary to me. Why not make it found in one particular place and have it be theorized that it is only found there. Slither, on the other hand, needs name work. Both need to be made SLIGHTLY more mundane. As is, I'm getting a slightly bad feeling from this idea. But if I don't think about the whole temple guardian thing, it goes away. Get the idea?

hmm ok intresting posts..and u deffintily prove your points so let me amke some changes: Name of slither will be:Mumix (as in a mummy before the pharoah),second thanks i unchecked the emocations .Third they werren't inteding to be rare i'm just trying to say how it's hard to coem by this temple and if u want..should it have a name?ANother thing is.. Mumix ( hope is a good name) shall have body and afce designs like mummys for instance it should have the eye paint no pharoic stuff.
Next off i wanna know how the info should be ,i'm not giving up the ideas.see ya and i hope u can help.

A generalreworking of your ideas, with general outlines for the Dexes. Tell me what you think.

Name: Mumba (Mummy + Mamba, a type of highly poisonous snake)
Type: Poison/Ground type
Classification: Mummified
Appearance: A mummified snake, slithering along the ground. It's grayish where the off-white bandages aren't covering its body. The eyes are bright red,
Dex Ideas: Something to suggest that they're part of an ancient pharaoh's curse, maybe. Perhaps something about using their bandages to CONSTRICT their victims?
Evolution: Taiphar at l35

Name: Pharobra (PLEASE help think of something better than this.)
Type: Poison/Magic
Classification: Pharaoh
Appearance: A large cobra, with a hood painted like a pharaoh's headdress. It's emerging from an ornate pot which floats just above the ground. The mouth is closed.
Dex Ideas: It doesn't have any fangs in its mouth. Instead, it uses its magical abilities to conjure poison directly into the bloodstream. If it can be worked in, maybe something about it being the king of all snakes.

Ok thanks very much sentinel .Um Pharox wasn't a good name?If not i'll think of something.and i do proofread but i do wear glasses for a reason it's hard to see...ugh.and Mumba sounds pretty awsome!

Um...both Sentinel & Ryu wear glasses too...but what does THAT have to anything!? I think it's more a matter of paying attention than wearing glasses...

Anyways, if I happen to think of a name for you, I'll post it. Hold on...maybe...how about Noma? That's backwards for Amon, who was the Egyptian king of gods, a patron of the Pharaohs, and a god of fertility. Since it seems that you want this snake to be kinda like a Pharaoh, both Ekans and Arbok are backwards for snake & cobra, and for some reason "Noma" sounds like it goes well with Mumba...hm. Maybe. What do you think?
