Yes, this is much better than Jetzalquatl...it just needs a bit more modification, I guess. Then again, I'm a major shark advocate...I love sharks...^u^ [So says one of the bumper stickers on my car...plus my junior year term paper was on them, last year's internship involved them, I have a Dive Shark bumper sticker, stuff, etc....okay...I really like sharks...^u^()]

If this is modeled after a shark, then I disagree with the expressionless eyes...then again, I'm the one who claims that JAWS is the greatest COMEDY of all time...which it is...^u^() [NO, I am NOT joking.] Also, if the shark is THAT length AND mostly made of steel, then it should probably weigh even more...the best example I can think of off the top of my head is that Great Whites can grow to over 20 ft in length and weigh over 2.4 tons...you can use that for comparison...or the Megamouth shark which is over 16 ft long and weighs about 1 500 lbs....I think the Great White will help you more...but the steel-type's weight shouldn't be too much more than that...sharks have VERY compact systems...you wouldn't believe how tight everything fits in there...

And also, since it likes to eat metal, maybe you should change it to be more of a tiger shark...they eat EVERYTHING....medieval armor has been found inside a few, even...

I'm a little late in posting this in particular, I agree with Ryu's 17 types of screaming no's, etc. above...and as far as confusing the two types is concerned, I hate to say it, but as the shark-fan I must....DUH! In all five of the posts before you suggested the fitting of the two via evolution, we all said something about a shark...aside from the missing of that in the initial title, I'm surprised you missed my post from when I was in one of my "Shark Spark" modes...or something like that...XD And I'm coming into another one! I like whales too, but why would it being a WHALE make it more practical? AAHCK! Yup! SHARK SPARK MODE!! XD

Hm...let's see...well, since I've suggested it being a tiger shark (due its eating metal), maybe some of it's names can help you here. Simple "Tiger Shark" is most likely out of the question...but its scientific name, Galeocerdo cuvier, and group relation (it's a requiem shark), etc. can help...hm...(I had some French words here to help as well, but I got some better ideas while reading over the post...so I'm posting this without them...If I need to, I'll put them up.)

Okay...now that I've looked over that and the French I've got some ideas working...my best idea so far is...Requimine...from REQUIeM shark and submarINE.

In this "Shark Spark Mode" bit? The Whale Shark, the largest fish in the world!! ^u^ Actually, whale sharks are found all over the world...they're just more common in certain areas. For the best chance at seeing one, try the Western Atlantic, Eastern Atlantic, Indo-West, Central, and eastern Pacific. (I hope to someday...I'm a licensed SCUBA diver. ^^) They're the only living members of their particular family, and I'm not going into too much detail there...but on the note of their mouths...NO...their mouths are NOT small. They just have narrow mouths...WHICH EXTEND ACROSS THE FULL WIDTH OF ITS FLATTENED HEAD. (I have a picture of one with its mouth open...IT AIN'T SMALL.) They're filter-feeders and are generally found night and day, swimming near the surface with their mouths open, catching whatever lies ahead of them. (Yummy...XD) Finally, whale sharks are named such due to their immense size. Bluntly put, WHALE SHARKS ARE SHARKS, NOT WHALES. So even if we changed this thing into a whale shark, we still couldn't combine the two thanks to simple biological facts. It'd just be stupid. (BTW...I love the "actually harmless." More sharks are harmless than people realize...and most are only dangerous when provoked. Also...such "maneaters" are generally labeled as "potentially dangerous." It's true! ^u^)

True...the Pirahna thing evolution really doesn't work...(and most Pirahnas are vegetarian)...Pirahnas are part of the class Osteichthyes (bony fishes) while sharks are part of the class Chondrichthyes (cartilaginous fishes).

Dude, he said earlier that he'd changed it into a submarine! Not a torpedo! This is EXACTLY where I got "Requimine" from. Jetzlquatl was the torpedo...now it's a submarine...two entirely different things.

**thinks back** It's scary...I've spouted off all this shark information just from memory...I might have verified a couple of things in some books, but I had all of that info right, too...*u* And this is only a small portion of what I know about sharks...this is fun! ^^ Thank you everyone for getting me into "Shark Spark Mode!" I LOVE IT! SHARKS RULE!! XD
