Was a basis for creating Gigavyris.

Description:
It's body is a 2-D black background with green bonary code running across it. It has a rudimentary head, with no eyes. It's mouth has jagged teeth, and is open. It has a staticy-looking arm and claw coming out a little bit below the head. One can be seen on the other side of the body. It has no legs, it's body ends in a tornado-like thing of jumble binary code (not black background there).Down it's back runs a series of jagged edges.

hrrm. I think it is a great start. I was thinking more along the lines of a three dimentional dragon creature. I like the trailing data stream for a tail. What is Porygon's weight, anyway? Anyway, the name is lacking.

Back when we used to role play in Super Heroes and Villians RPG, I made a doppleganger of Poryhedren's character(who of course played himself) called "Porynomial". It was basically what Venom is to Spiderman. The whole plot never got off the ground though, because a certain PC found it beneficial to contue to sabbutage the preliminary plot line so to halt our progress. The whole thing failed.

Anywho, the name would fit. How about it? Porynomial? Oh, and I would suggest a steel/dragon (though we already have 2.) I hate the ghost idea.

Yeah, but I put ghost/dragon since Antidrak isn't really solid. Steel Pokemon usually have steel characteristics.

I thought a doppleganger for Poryhedron would be like a Y2K virus....

Porygon weighs about 75 lbs out of cyberspace. But the process for how it's made is different to how Gigavyris and Antidrak's is. Porygon becomes code to enter cyberspace, TVs, or phones, etc. But outside of those, it's a solid object. Gigavyris and Antidrak are computer code, all the time. Which is why Gigavyris seems blurred, and Antidrak's lower half seems to be falling apart. They aren't capable of being totally stable outside of cyberspace, as they were both intended to be used in cyberspace only.

There was no Y2K virus, remember?
But, Porygon was made to go in and out of cyber space. So, its natural preditor would need to do the same. Let us look at this from a preditor's point. Porygon's conversion attack makes it the same type as its apponent's last move. The preditor would have to be a type that is resistant to and/or stronger than most of its own moves. Then there is coversion2, which makes Porygon a type superior to its apponent's last move.

But there is no type that has a one-up over ghost, I think. All physical attacks won't do anything. And Dragon is weak to Ice and Dragon. Which means the Porygon/Porygon2 would have to change it's type into one of those. And Antidrak won't learn Ice moves.

Oh, by the way, may I offer a suggestion on the name? Since Antidrak is so blatant, may I suggest the somewhat more asthetic 'Andrak' for a name. It's got the same meaning, just hidden better.

Say... Didn't I make an Anti-Porygon a LONG time ago? I think it ate aberrant code, or something. Pory, do you remember what that thing was called?

Well, no....only in R/B/Y, because the ghosts were all half poison. In G/S, Misdreavus was pure ghost. The Pokemon Crystal guide says Psychic attacks do normal damage to Ghost...

Well, who was it who decided to cast a villian in a certain role when practically nothing had been posted about the character yet? Most solo villians don't make good stooges.

A good point with the habitat issue, but it could be argued that rogue Porygon really aren't threats outside of cyberspace. And the GSC version of Conversion has nothing to do with the enemy.

False on both counts. Ghost attacks and Dark attacks do double damage to Ghost-types, and the only attack types that don't affect Ghosts are Normal and Fighting.

Hrm...now that you mention it, the dex is just barely too long. It might be fixed by removing 'very' (changing 'a' to 'an', of course) and moving 'anti-' to the fifth line.

One part of the description keeps leaving me puzzled: If the body is two-dimensional, what does "one can be seen on the other side of the body" mean? Coming out of its back? Or does it just seem 2D?

Am I following the conversation correctly if I think that the name change to Andrak is the only revision that's been made so far?
