Hello, my name is Deykuzor, I am a staff member here at The Pokemon Factory. If you haven't noticed, we haven't done anything here in over two years. I am now a college student and yada yada yada.
Let's cut straight for the teeth: "Is Pokemon Factory ever coming back?" From my perspective, I regret to say, it is not. I've put off saying this because in the staff room we used to have a saying called "Don't spread the FUD" which was "Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt". But it's been two years. Most of the staff has either lost interest or moved to 3dpe. Maybe all of you can take a look at our affiliates or other projects. I mean, again, 3dpe is a great wonderful project that's being worked on. I'm not involved, but a lot of our key staff members are nurturing that into adulthood.
Will the RPG ever start up again? I have long since abandoned it to other people, who have long since abandoned it. It is not starting up again either. Genuinely though, I am not in a place to tell you all what the future holds, because who knows, perhaps a change of heart and a flood of interest will return to this board. Or perhaps one of you will come up with the next iteration of Pokemon Factory, if that happens, hit us up, I would, at least, love to help you grow.
So what now? Well I'm leaving this board, ostensibly for good. I've been gone two years, and there isn't really anything here left for me. But it was a fun long ride. PF was the first message board I ever joined, first organization I really strove to work for, and hey, I had a lot of growing since I first came here. I was 15. I had a lot of ego, and a lot to learn. This place has a ton of really cool memories for me, and that's probably why I'm finally writing this now.
