Yuku free message boards

As an old member from 2007 and 2008, who literally only checks in on this site basically once a year, it is really sad to see the site die down in activity. This site was actually a big part of my life, in discovering Fakemon before I got onto the forums and getting me interested in art and fakemon and the Pokemon fandom, and in joining the forums and creating the template for the online identity I would continue to build upon. It pains me to see a site so dear to me to have become a little under the weather. But the Internet has changed, and a lot of us went elsewhere. The online world I was in when I first joined the forums is radically different from the online world of today. Forums have given way to sites like Reddit and Tumblr, and I've found Facebook groups to be a remarkably good source of discussion over common interests. And I've grown up. I was like 12 or 13 when I was most active on this site, and honestly it showed. Now I'm 19 and halfway through my first year of college. I had to prioritize. I haven't been big into Fakemon for years and I've fallen a bit behind on my art. I've pursued game design and my interest in film and media and interacted with a diversity of fandoms. I'll never forget this site, though, and the good times I had on it, even though there was a LONG period where I couldn't suggest anything, and that really I haven't been able to contribute much to the site of my own. I'll try to keep an eye on this thread for anyone who wanted to have a long-overdue reunion from the D/P days, but I don't plan on contributing anything to the forums much past that right now. Things have just become too busy for me to be a part of this site, but I appreciate all the staff and members have done on it, and wish you the best of luck in keeping the dream alive.

Also, whatever happened to Culthulhu? (and where can I find his old dex sprite?)
