I just wanted to give you an update on my absence lately. The reason for this is by no means I lost interest in PF; the reason is, in short, my complete lack of access to the internet. As some of you know, I moved from my parents to a place of my own at the end of January. The house I now live in is part of a block of five apartments. They are all newly built, so telephone and internet connections were still lacking. Only one provider in the Netherlands is allowed to provide those to new houses, so we've applied for a connection there. However, that provider is either extremely stupid or extremely lazy, as they're still looking into the best way to connect our house to telephone and internet connections. That's bad enough as it is, but until the situation was solved, the guy who rents us the house provided us with access to his own router. That went well enough for some time, but about a month ago, his router crashed and now no longer seems to be working as it should, leaving us without internet access. The guy is pretty old, so he doesn't really care about internet, nor does he know what to do. So, until the provider finally gets its act together, I have close to no internet access, apart from some visits to my parents. Doing stuff for PF is therefore, as much as I regret it, nigh impossible. Just wanted to let you know this much. I really hope this gets solved soon, as it's getting more and more frustrating...
