I know, I know. We're only allowed two suggestions at a time, and besides, I really don't think I'll be suggesting this one at all. If people find it interesting, I will ask for it to be brought onto the Suggest A Pokemon sub-forum when either of my current birds have been approved and shipped off. This idea occurred to me while I was playing a Pokemon Tabletop game (Pokemon Tabletop Adventures! for those that are curious) and looking over the Botanist Advanced Class. I had the idea of a Pokemon that would harvest berries when outside of battle, so the Pokemon is obviously going to be a Grass-Type. For its animal appeal, I searched up some insects - specifically, beetles - and came to the conclusion on its animal part: the Flower Scarabs. May not be on a specific Flower Scarab, but the group as a whole woks.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I present to you, Scaranolia.
Name: Scaranolia (Flower Scarab + Magnolia, a genus of Flowers)
Classification: The Cultivator Pokemon (since classifications can also be on special abilities)
Type: Grass/Bug
Ability: Berry Pick (Hidden Ability: Harvest)
New Ability: Berry Pick
Flavor text: The Pokemon may pick up Berries.
Effect: After a battle, if the Pokemon is not holding an item, it has a 30% chance to pick up any Berry from 01-15 in the Berrydex, 10% chance to pick up any Berry from 16-20 and 27-35 in the Berrydex, 5% chance to pick up any Berry from 36-52 in the Berrydex, 3% chance to pick up any Berry from 21-26 and 53-57 in the Berrydex, or 1% chance to pick up any Berry from 58-64 in the Berrydex.
I really don't want to go into detail about which Berries are where, so please refer to a Berrydex.
I believe this will be all that I'll need to display for Scaranolia for now. If the rest of you people feel its a good idea and should be suggested, then I'll be more than happy to suggest it (once I can).
