I wanted to know if anybody knows a good hosting site, for an inter-active website, like PokeEngine. I've tried neq3, that ended in a bust. I've also seen 000webhost, but that doesn't allow you to use copywritten sites, even if it's for a fan project and not money. I've also looked at co.cc but that didn't look very user-friendly. I"m only looking for site that provides free hosting forever, not a for 30-days only.

000webhost is what I'd recommend. What do you mean by copywritten sites? If you just mean pokemon things, it's fine, so long as you're not hosting roms for download.

Sorry, 000webhost is good copywritten wise. I must have gotten confused with another hosting site.

You could try a self hosted server (on your own machine) - Apache isn't bad. I personally have used godaddy, ipage and hostmonster, but I can't say they're perfect either. 000webhost I personally never used, but looking through, I have to say with Bonzai, it should fulfill your needs as long as you don't blatantly violate any copyright laws. Do remember if you are distributing a product though (free or not) and someone reports you to the trademark holder, your website will be sent a C&D as companies must act when a service is an infraction on their intellectual property, and otherwise will lose their trademark rights (per american copyright laws) - that said, if you can find yourself a fairly good legal department, you may be able to exempt yourself from said charges. We have Poryhedron and Bonzai here at PF for that.

The chances of someone finding your fansite are very very low. PF has never had any contact from Nintendo as far as I'm aware. (Stealing our concepts and names, on the other hand...)

Hosting on your own machine means your site will only be online when your computer is. If you leave it on all the time, then it will be like any other website. However, if your dad doesn't let you download chrome, he's not going to let you download Apache (the server program).

000webhost seems to be your best choice. Also, it's copyright, as in the right to copy something!
