It's about time someone made a Schrodinger's cat Pokemon. I can't really think of anything for the name. For the moveset, I would suggest having it learn Snarl later. Also, why does it learn Acid?

Because the cat was/wasn't killed by acid (specifically Hydrogen Cyanide) set off by radiation triggering a hammer in the original scenario.

Aside from the name, the main thing I'm having trouble coming up with is the color scheme. I was thinking possibly purple and light grey, but it just seems too generic.

This is an excellent idea.

Maybe the box-shaped part could be white, and the cat could be light purple? (like Espeon, only lighter)

I prefer the name Vietmort. (though doubtlessly bland to someone who knows French, not everyone knows French.)

Schroding is another, possible name. (Schrodinger's cat.)

I'm a fan of Zweiphynx as a name, but the concern of confusion with Zweilous leads me to think Vietmort is probably the wise choice. Also, was this by any chance inspired by the TvTropes list of unused types? I saw a Schrodinger's Cat pokemon discused on there.

I've made a full body color sketch. Which do you guys think is better; with or without a third point in the back of the head?

Schröline might work, but depending on the rules for naming, the ö might have to be changed to an o.

Ok, my brother said the same thing when I showed him, so I'll probably go with that one. Also, I added the base stats. Hopefully, I didn't make them too high (my intention was to make it around rarely used or possibly underused tier (but not borderline 2) .

Rework the ability to something less restrictive like this: When the Pokémon is sent out, it's current type randomly changes to either one of its regular types. Name it Dual Phase or something.

I changed the ability's description, but I kept the name Either Or because Dual Phase makes it sound like it's two different things merged together instead of becoming one or the other.

No it wouldn't. Schrodinger's Cat is a pretty unique concept. Give an idea for an evo if you're going to say it does.

I was intending it to have roughly the same meaning as your name for it but worded a more vaguely so it could be used for later mons better. Even if no-one else agrees with my intended meaning that latter interpretation still makes sense because in the ability's outline and the basis of this mon it exists in both states at the same time when unobserved.
