Miasma Blow is the signature move of Chimplague. I think you should replace it with Beat Up.

I thought they should be swift mixed attackers with low defenses. What do you think?

I think Cheater should be tuned down to about 25% chance. Removing a Pokemons ability is very important as abilities can sometimes change the tide of battle.

Huh, it didn't say that I couldn't use Miasma Blow, but I'll change it to Beat Up.

Thanks for the Stats! They are Pokemon who like to get the better of you at the first moment.

I know that a Pokemon's Ability is important in battle; thus, that's why Cheater can be effective, but yeah, I'll reduce the chances to 25%.

If you look up Miasma Blow on PF only Chimplague knows it. Given its good power & accuracy many Pokemon would have included it in their movelists. I think this Pokemon is good and all areas are completed. You just have to wait now for someone to find something that I have overlooked.

Thanks ZeroChill, but I had an idea. I know that a few people don't like us suggestion chained evolutions (because it fills up the amount of space in the Pokedex Project) but still, I think I should include it. It's a chained evolved form of Gobully that I call Emperorc (EMPEROR+ORC), and a Gobully evolves into an Emperorc by leveling up to level 40 with a King's Rock. I can edit the evolution method, but is it alright if I put in this chained evolution?

I wouldn't do that. Almost every new suggestion I've seen so far has a chain evolution. It gets boring after a while.

You know, Cheater is essentially a nerfed version of Mold Breaker. You should just give them that, I think.

Also I like the idea of Gem Crush. Though I think it could do with reducing the power to 30, like Incinerate.

Well, no, because I think it disables ANY ability. Even things like Rain Dish or Swarm.

Ok, a couple of things:

Flarsable & SCD: your right Flare, Cheater does have a chance to disable ANY Ability (except for certain Abilities like Terravolt), so I'm keeping Cheater and not Mold Breaker.

magemaster529: exactly, Deceit doesn't sound right for the description; Cheater, however, fits the Ability's effect nicely.

ZeroChill: I'm taking your word on that and making Hobgreed evolve into Emperorc.

SCD: Well, I personally think that Incinerate is just too weak of an attack; the lowest I will reduce the power of Gem Crush is 40, though.

Gem Crush seeing as it ALWAYS results in a critical hit and with STAB from the Gobilly line, if it's power remained 40 the total amount of damage done when calculated would be 90 power. A critical hit Gem Crush with out STAB would be 60. Correct me if any of these calculations are wrong. But Gem Crush is fine with 40 power. Incinerate can be helpful in dealing with Chesto Berry/ Rest loving Snorlax's. The whole rename to Deceit was just a suggestion.

The calculations are wrong, and the attack doesn't ALWAYS score a critical hit. With a crit, the power is 80, and with STAB it's 120. But that's only if they are holding a Gem and haven't used it yet. Incinerate really is an underpowered move, so I think it's fine.

If that is the case then make the base power 35. If it results in a critical hit it turns to 70, and with STAB, 105. if you want to keep 40 base powered Gem Crush, include a recoil as the move, when used on Gobully and any other Dark type would result in 120 power everytime. How about if the opponent has no gems the attack lands but the user takes 1/4 recoil damage. And Flars Gem Crush does always result in a critical hit. Another option would be, keep 40 powered Gem Crush but give it an increased critical hit ratio and maybe make it's base power bigger.

The way poketamer has worded the description implies that the attack crits only if the target is holding a gem.

That means overall power if base power is 40 with STAB is 60. I think that's fine. I didn't read it properly SCD so I though it always resulted in a critical hit. But 40 power for Gem Crush seems ok.

@Unova Star: I did stop. Probably Poketamer has decided to keep the 40 base power. This move is similar but not the same to those moves. Gem Crush only gets a critical hit when the foe is holding a gem. So I've fixed my mistakes in this thread.

considering that it has orc in its name, you might want to lose the dog-face and give it something more humanlike. Green skin wouldn't hurt either.
Of course as the leader of the Hobgreed and Gobully, he should be decked out in all the bling they steal, like some sort of fashion-conscious magpie.
