"Alright then," I said, "I'll take one of those unmarked ones."
After that, I grabbed one on the middle of the unmarked Pokeballs.  Then, before I openned it, I asked:
"Excuse me, a girl named Vivasha was supposed to be here.  Did she come in earlier?"
Suddenly, the Pokeball openned up, and, after a blinding light, the form of a Pokemon appeared.
"What is that?!" I cried as the new Pokemon took shape as a...

"Awesome!" I cried in excitement, holding my new Pokemon in my arms.  "Shinx is one of my favorite Pokemon!"
The little Shinx blushed a little, a little bashful.
"Well," I said to Professor Yew, "She's--"
I was about to say "Love of my life" but quickly realized that it was too personnel. 
"--an old friend of mine," I replied instead.  "I promised her that I would travel in Futei with her a long time ago; she's on a different island than this one, I think.  In case she did drop by, she has blue hair and green eyes.  Sounds familiar?"

Vivasha?  In a hurry?
That was something that I did not want to hear at all. 
"Do you at least know which way she went? Did she even say anything about where she was going?"
I didn't care whether or not my face showed signs of fear; I just wanted to know what was going on.

"Okay thanks!"
After those words, I took off in search of Vivasha.  I ran to the roads as fast as I could, and, after a few minutes of running, I stopped.
"VIVASHA!!!!!!"
The word just echoed without even a response; then I dropped to my knees, fighting to keep my tears from releasing.
Where are you? I asked in my head.  Why didn't you wait? I made it in time...
Suddenly, a little calf Pokemon stumbled out of the bushes.  I recognized it in my studies as a Taurnero.  Evidentally, I pulled out my Pokedex and gathered data on it:
Taurnero, the Calf Pokemon.  The pre-evolved form of Tauros and Miltank.  When young, it has trouble walking on its weak legs.  As it grows stronger, it learns to walk more easily.
"Wow, a pre-evolved form of Tauros!" I said to myself.  "That could be useful.  Ready Shinx?"
That's when I realized that Shinx was behind me, a little afraid. 
"Don't be scared, little guy," I calmly expressed to my new Starter Pokemon.  "You can do it.  I believe in you."
Shinx then cautiously approached the calf Pokemon; before the little cat Pokemon could do anything, Taurnero charged at Shinx with a Tackle.  Shinx was sent spiralling onto the ground.
"Don't worry Shinx!" I yelled.  "Give it your own Tackle!"
Then Shinx charged at Taurnero, a bit slower though...but with more power.  Taurnero was sent spiralling onto the ground and hit a tree.
"Pokeball," I said, grabbing an empty Pokeball, "GO!!!"
I threw the Pokeball and, after a bit of struggling, caught Taurnero.

((I don't know.  Maybe it's someone trying to stop me from finding Vivasha))

A little shocked and intimidated by the guard, I cleared my throat and pronounced my reasons to enter Kadon City.
"Sir," I said, "I'm Rikasho, and I just got my Trainer's License to enter Kadon City.  I heard that a blue-haired girl was heading this way, and I need to make sure that I know she entered through here."
Shinx and Taurnero, however, were not so calm; they kept glaring at the guard, as if he was a threat.

"Wait a minute," I stated, almost losing my patience, "Professor Yew said that the only way a new recruit can start their journey is to head to Kadon City, so how could you never see her?"
I decided not to argue with a gaurd, I reached for my ID and my license.  "See? Proof that I can enter Kadon City."
Shinx and Taurnero were still looking on gaurd, with Shinx growling and Taurnero snorting and pawing one of his hooves onto the ground.

"Well," I said softly, "Thank you for letting me in."
Why is he smirking? I thought.  He knows Vivasha's been here, and he's not telling me.
So, I entered Kadon City and immediately tried to search for anyone who could've seen her; every single person ignored me, with one big guy elbowing me.  Then there could be one person who could ask; the Gym Leader.
They're usually kind and helpful, I thought, At least more helpful than these people.  But first---I have to find the Pokemon Center and heal Shinx and Taurnero.
On that thought, I returned Shinx and Taurnero to their Pokeballs and headed to the Pokemon Center.  As I entered, I handed the Pokeballs to the nice lady at the desk.  Then I had to ask:
"Excuse me, mam, but have you seen a blue-haired girl come through this city?  I've tried to ask the guard, and he said he's never seen her.  I know there's a way to go around the city, but I've heard it's extremely dangerous."

I knew the lady wasn't lying, but how could it be that Vivasha headed in the direction of Kadon City and no one's seen her?
I decided to just grab my Pokemon and head to the first Gym.
"Thank you," I said, putting my Pokeballs on my belt.  "By the way, do you know where the first Gym is?"
