"Anyway, Cidni and me agreed that we don't really need the Pre-Gym training and we wanted to watch you guys instead. I doubt Tre-Wicked witch of the west, is gonna show up."

Well, that's ridiculous. There's more than one way out of Nimbasa City, Gecko thought. He dismissed this due to the oversight of the city planners and dutifully followed the main road. He was becoming hungry, and his innards even rumbled once, but the last time they made a detour here Tremaine pounced on them. Besides, he had---didn't he?---some snacks in his bag. If not, they would acquire food in Victora Town.

Kit walked over to Cidni.

"I just realized somthing, if one of us do find Tre-Idiot what do we do? She's the last Gym Leader we can't exaclty beat her in a battle, and she has those weird powers, so we can't just drag her out into the open." He whispared to Cidni.

(OOC: Is there a weakness to Team Hex, like being in the sunlight to long makes them to weak to move, somthing for Kit and Cidni to discover when they go to the Junior Tournament.)

Cidni didn't have a clue what Kit was saying, for she was only six.
"Talking about Tremaine to Cidni is like yelling at a wall; she doesn't understand about Tremaine at all."
Lisa had the most serious look on her face.
"Listen, don't even think about planning against Tremaine; the last person who did was found floating face-down at a river..."
She trailed off, for that event always scared her; that was the time when she discovered Tremaine's real nature.
"Anyways, it's best to stay out of her way...even if she gets in yours."

(OOC: the only weakness to Team Hex is Light-type Pokemon; they cower in sight of a Light-type Pokemon.)

Gecko resisted spluttering Pfft. "That's just garden-variety murder. It happens."

It scared Gecko that Tremaine would not only be violent but perhaps outright murderous. Still, it wasn't like they found the person with the person's soul streaming out. Any person could murder another by drowning; no mumbo-jumbo powers were required. This gave Gecko a bit of morbid confidence.

Finally the buildings were thinning out, and in the distance they could see trees and grassy patches. Apparently this city did not have much of a suburb.

"It wasn't garden-variety murder; the guy had no signs of drowning. His eyes were pale; as in they had no color. Also the guy had blue eyes and was a reporter for a gossip show about Rominel's Gym Leaders. He wad going to reveal some huge secret that she's keeping but apparently lost his soul."

A Rattata scampered past them, carrying a bundle of dry brown material in its jaws. "We're not quite out of the city yet and there's wild Pokémon? Great!"

Kit grabbed Wingulls Pokeball and released him.

"Wingull Water Gun on that Rattata." Kit commeded pointing at a Rattata.

Wingull shot a blast of water at the wild Rattata, it fainted on contact. It awoken surprisingly quickly and scampered away.

Yep, you did,Gecko thought, but as he was already walking away and he would have to shout to carry a conversation from that distance, he decided not to reply.

A Rattata poked out from a nearby bush. Seemingly curious about him, it scurried onto a rock and propped itself up.

Gecko felt a little guilty to attack something that hadn't expressed a willingness to fight.

"Er...could I battle you?" he awkwardly requested, with Zip at his side.

"Mudkip." Zip seemed to sigh.
