Magemaster Pokemon typing is one of the most important things in the Pokemon universe. Even you should know that. Take this as an example.

You are fighting a lv100 Escavalier, water, electric, ground move do nothing to it, what move should you use. You should use a fire type move of course. Escavalier's typing of Bug/Steel give it a x4 weakness to fire. If you didn't factor in typing there that would have been a fruitless battle until you or the Escavalier ultimately lost.

So you see typing is every bit as logical as you can get. You can't get a good Pokemon for competitive battling or in game without factoring in type. Besides the poll is everyone's opinion who is on the forum. The only way to get a definite answer is to have a worldwide poll. Believe it or not our opinions are but drops of water in the ocean known as earth. Like I said one poll on this forum can not give a definite answer that Palkia is the best, therefore it is not a valid arguement. Besides read my other post again. I do not only factor in Dialga's typing but it's stats, movepool, weaknesses e.t.c.

What do you do at times like this? You use logic.

(I really do not want to start a flame war, as the way this is going one can see it is most definitely going to start a flame war. Let's us just agree to disagree and remember that we all have our opinions and one poll cannot produce the ultimate result.)
