I was looking at the superdex entries, and when I got to Poryhedron, I notced PorygonZ wasn't on its Evolution Chart. Mistake, or was it not supposed to be here?

No, Porygon-Z is not supposed to be in Poryhedron's evolutionary information. Poryhedron is only related to Porygon and Protogon - the other members of Porygon's family are not of importance, so they are not shown. I've removed Porygon2 from Poryhedron's SuperDex entry now too.

In Bombur, (the region the species of the Pokémon Factory live in) there are two versions of Porygon. One version evolves from Protogon and into Poryhedron, (potentially, as there is presently only one Poryhedron individual) and another is the beginning stage of its line, evolving into Porygon2 and then Porygon-Z.

Which doesn't make much sense now that I think about it. How is it that the earlier version (the one that evolves from Protogon is referred to as Porygon 1.0) is the one that can become a practical god of the Cyberworld, while the later version (the one that becomes Porygon-Z is called Porygon 2.0) cannot and can instead be hacked? Wouldn't it make more sense that later versions could become the gods and the earlier versions would be hackable?

That would make sense---if the original designers of the Porygon 1.0 knew about the secret option of evolving into Poryhedron. Porygon does not evolve into Poryhedron by normal means; Poryhedron told me he evolved by accessing an unusual bit of data on the Internet. (if I am not mistaken)
When the makers of Porygon made Porygon 2.0, they cut out Protogon. Perhaps having that developmental stage was unnecessary, or too susceptible to tampering or viruses? The Dubious Disc might have been invented years after Porygon 2.0 was. Even if Porygon 2.0 was secure by the standards of its day, when it was made the effects of a Dubious Disc (if the creators knew about Dubious Discs at all) were not known or anticipated.
Or perhaps Porygon 1.0 could not have advanced software downloaded to it. The Dubious Disc could have been the product of some scientists' high hopes, (for work in alien dimensions) so they modified Porygon to make Porygon 2.0. (and gave it to option to evolve into Porygon2) However, the Dubious Disc did not work as planned, and made an unexpected evolution.
Still, Porygon-Z was valued by Trainers. Trainers may have admired its erratic behavior, or simply wanted one because its stats were higher than Porygon2.

Actually, either type of Porygon can evolve into a Poryhedron if it somehow gains access to the same sort of file that evolved me. A bit of a moot point, though, since I'm pretty sure I would have to die in order for a file like that to exist again. To horribly mangle the intended meaning of a Highlander quote, "There can be only one"...

So a full evolution chart for Poryhedron would have to be two charts. One would start at Protogon, lead to Porygon, and then branch into Porygon2 or Poryhedron. The other would start at Porygon, branch into Porygon2 or Poryhedron, and then Porygon2 would lead to Porygon-Z.

I do consider the Porygon version that is able to evolve into Porygon-Z the newer version of the two if thay's of importance.

As for what Pory said about the evolutionary tree of the Porygon family: showing the entire family is only needed in Poeygon's entry. If there are alt.evo's or other special features in tge evolution chain, those are only shown in the necessary stages. To name a good example: Poliwrath's entry would show Poliwag and Poliwhirl, but not Politoed. The entries of Poliwag and Poliwhirl, on the other hand, would show all members of the family, because they can evolve into both.

You are right, that is wrong. Keep in mind though that all entries that aren't marked as complete have not been checked thoroughly and are thus bound to contain small errors such as these.

Before we'd decided how entries were going to show evolution, I put a checkbox on the superdex controls that will apply evolution data to all pokemon in the chain (so we don't have to edit all of Farfetch'd's relatives to add Fancifowl as the basic stage, for instance). I just end up forgetting to uncheck that when I change things, so it's most likely my fault.
I've just thought of a better solution to it: keep all the data intact but only show the relevant pokemon on the superdex entries. Guess I'll add that when I can.

I've just spotted something else though, I marked Thermal as a Fire-type move in Nimblitz's evolution, when it's actually Wind-type. I should fix that.

That doesn't seem like a very good idea, to be honest. If I'm looking at the page for cirrace and I want to see the page for nimblitz it's much more convenient for me to just click on the image in the evolutionary line thing to get to the page rather than going back to the archive page, scrolling down and then clicking nimblitz. this is especially a problem for cross generational evolutions such as harvechrn where I have to go out and either click on it's page or search it if I don't remember the page. Sometimes I might not even remember the name of it meaning I have to go back and look at the name of the pre evolution, search for it's page, then click on it's alternate evolution. IMO it would make it much more convenient to just have all of the evolutionary relatives on one tree.

It would still show up for Cumulaze. It wouldn't show up for Cirrice, however. Relevant Pokemon means only the direct line that goes to it, and applies to alt evos only.

Cirrace is the one I meant, sorry.

It just doesn't seem very logical though to me. You have to backtrack all around just to find the pokemons previous forms alternate evolution. It doesn't really make any sense if you think about it.
