.... i am speechless at this. TWO starter pokemon sets in the same generation?! This is madness! I can't wait for their full profiles

Those new DL starters look excellent. Now that I can see the updated sprites properly, they all do. I cannot quite understand the detail-packed red ones (presumably the Fire-types) but they still look good.

Let me guess what the leftmost one's names are...

No Starter should be part Dragon as it just upsets the balance.

I don't know why, but Holliguana's Gen V sprite I don't really like. >> Poingaela and Missoto's sprites look great though, and Enemone in particular looks awesome. (You can tell I have a certain fondness for the PFA starters, because until Gen V came out Gen III was my favorite Pokemon generation. xD)

Wow, these are so cool! I especially love the chinese dragon dude.

Also, my brother just pointed out that the cannon centipede concept resembles my Tortank.

I'm gonna get the Fire-Type starter when I come back to the RPG for Gen V. They all look amazing, but my heart lies with the dragon looking one.

So we have cannon ~~beetles~~ worms, the next Volvagia, and jet mice. I like the worms the best, because having upgrading weapons was quite smart. I'm expecting them to learn Seed Bomb and Bullet Seed.

The new sprites are awesome, except that the Holligauna line's don't really look like they say "I can learn Superpower." Ninemone is also a little smaller than I remember.

The grass line (which are based on an arthropleura) have a signature move lying in Pin Missile. As I told Moppy when he was doing the art, these guys don't shoot pins as missiles - they merely shoot missiles, fully functioning ones, with pins on the end.

Generation V is your favorite? Strange. I HATE the fifth generation. The designs are the worst yet for the most part, and the gameplay was too short, with almost no postgame. I think Generations I and III were the best, in terms of designs.
