Yes! Someone else understands my views on babies! On a related note, what is it about babies that makes people you don't know want to hold your offspring? On one hand, you have one of the most precious things in your life. On the other, some guy you've never met before. Seems safe enough to me! *sarcasm*

I hate mornings.

Not because of the alarm clock that mocks me to get out of the bed.
Not because of the cold floor that saps the warmth from my feet.
Not because of the seemingly endless journey to the bathroom.
Not because of drooping eyelids to compliment an already abhorrent face.
Not because of a mirror that delights me in reminding me I am doomed to carry this frown for eternity.
Not because each item required for my morning routine reminds me of other needlessly repetitive things I must do day after.
Not because I rely on antidepressant to help me function “normally” throughout the day.
Not because the very aspect taking my antidepressant seems to depress me even more.
Not because of the brief moment where I glimmer of a smile creeps across my face when I deceive myself into believing today will be different.
And not because quivering lips and glistening eyes immediately replace that smile as a realization why I hate mornings comes to mind.
I hate mornings… Because I hate myself.

I do, however, love Only Always. Shall we share a drink on my balcony under the moonlight?
