Might I suggest some stats? (I love the secretary bird just so you know!)

D: 75
SA: 50
SD: 60
SPD: 90
T: 490 (Kangaskhan's total. This struck me as on par with that.)

But why? I see nothing wrong with its Attack stat (it's on par with Pinsir and Heracross, both single-stage Pokemon not counting Grubva) and it won't have much need for the SP. ATK anyway, right?

Flarsable makes a good point. Earth Power seems like the only Special move it could learn, and possibly only by Egg Move. If I didn't mention I liked the suggestion before, I will mention it now: a really great job! Lets hope to see this one go all the way to approval.

Wait, I distinctly remember replying to this topic just a few hours ago. ಠ_ಠ

I was saying the stat was 135, before I commented; which seems a little too high for an unevolved pokemon.
That increase in Special Attack is for balancing reasons, because it seems so many people just pour all the stat points in one offensive stat and leave something really measly like 10 or 20 points for the other.

Well, that's because many Pokemon are adapted to one kind of fighting and therefore wouldn't be very skilled in the other. You don't see any Machamps using Ice Beam, right?

You know those bugs you used as an example? They have 50 and 55 Special Attack. Still low, but it makes the stats more realistic/balanced as opposed to looking like it was manufactured from a factory for sweepers.
Unless you say that a pokemon is utterly incapable of using energy attacks, there's really no other justification for giving it an impossibly dismal offensive stat even though it isn't dominant.

Maybe so, but I DO see Machamps using Hidden Power, Hyper Beam, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Round, Focus Blast and Incinerate, and has a special attack of 65; not great, but still usable.

The Stats look fine! 125 is a good high though I feel like rounding out the Defense stat at a solid 80 or 85 would be to its benefit, maybe to the detriment of some Speed. I still think Blaze Kick should only be relegated to an egg move though, since it's in the Field / Ground or whatever it's called group. How do you guys handle egg moves?

Dexes are HARD here is some I tried
- Native to harsh deserts, Kikretary must often use its powerful legs to kick away predators. (91)
- As a very territorial Pokemon, Kikretary will not hesitate to kick Pokemon approaching its nest. (96 ehhh)

No Guard for the ability. Doesn't need a secondary one, really.

The design, as described in the first post, I guess? I don't have too much to add there. Any suggestions, anyone?

Actually that seems perfect! No Guard Hi Jump Kick is pretty useful though just for the zero risk factor and STAB so I figure that will factor in a lot

Well it would be if it wasn't vulnerable on its air turn! I feel like Bounce will be the kind of move people will have prior to Brave Bird but notice the inherent flaw of using
