He couldn't believe it. Today was the day. Chris had been waiting for this day for as long as he could remember. And now he was standing outside Professor Idaho's lab, about to get his first Pokemon. Taking a deep breath, and pushing his glasses back up his nose, he gently eased the lab's door open. "Professor Idaho? I'm here to get my first Pokemon."
