HOLY SHIZZLE FROM KAFIZZLE NIZZLE, BATMAN!

That has got to be the coolest controller I have ever seen. Also, OMG LUIGI'S MANSION, PAPER MARIO 3DS, MARIO PARTY 9, AND PROFESSOR LAYTON! SQUEEE!

And yet, from what I hear on other sites, somehow people are still b****ing about how 'nintendo has betrayed us' with 'gimmicks' and people are still convinced that this revolutionary tech is 'little kiddy bull****'. And I give up. I just. Give. Up.

What why. How does that make any sense.
Nor did it make sense when the Classic controller couldn't play Gamecube games. THEY HAVE THE SAME BUTTONS WHY WON'T THEY PLAY THE SAME GAMES. THIS IS WHAT MAKES PEOPLE SAY "SCREW YOU NINTENDO I'M BUYING A PS3".

And each Wii U can only have one pad controller hooked up at the same time? What is that. I thought the small screen was in part to stop screenwatching but if you only have one small screen you can't prevent it gosh darn.

Meh, not that I miss many Gamecube games, I'd just play my favorite game ever: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The Gamecube controller thing must be some kind of gimmick to get more people to buy the new Smash Bros.

Why wouldn't it be backwards compatible with the Gamecube? Its sales were poor, from what I'm aware of, so obviously they're going to drag it along every Nintendo console we own until the day we die.

No.

The consoles won't force you to play Gamecube games. Those who didn't like the Gamecube won't even care about the compatibility, but those who did (like me) will appreciate it. It's not like the "casual gamer" dilemma, where many games would force one to play the "casual" way.
