Since a giant turbine with wings isn't very creative maybe instead we could maybe do an armadillo with a wind tunnel on its back! ( Yeah I'm kind of in crazy mode!)

Starting with a "unique" type combo... please don't do this. But let's see if we forget about that and try to make a pokemon out of this?

A flying armadillo? Sure, why not. In my mind, I am currently seeing a weird mix of Armadillomon of Digimon Season 2, and Armored Armadillo of Megaman X. Huh.

By the way, if it only breeds with Ditto, the only breeding group it can then be in is - surprise, surprise - the Ditto breeding group.

Hmm. Might give the vague idea in my head a spin, see what comes out of it.

Well if it was going to fly it would only be well it had its wind tunnel going at full capacity.

Oh oh! We could include something in its dex about it being able to stop a jumbo jet with its tunnel going full bore!
(more crazy mode thinking there!)

OK. Which armadillo to base it off of? Should we make it a single Pokemon or an evolutionary line? Hm. I propose...

Fairichi (Pink Fairy Armadillo + Pichi)
Armadillo PKMN
Type: Steel/Ground

Evolves into Giadilenda via trade with Wind Turbine.

Giadilenda (Giant Armadillo + Vendavales [Spanish for windstorm])
Airborne PKMN
Type: Steel/Wind

Wind Turbine: (Held Item) A small wind turbine that boosts the holder's speed and evasion.

I think we should have the prevo (if we are going to have one) as steel type as we don't want a complete type change when it evolves.
I think Fairichi should be a Pichi just cause they look so cute!

Since armadillos are generally burrowers, and Fairichi fits the bill for that, I decided to keep the ground type. Doesn't mean it couldn't learn Sandstorm, that involves wind.

Yeah, but how do we justify the double type change by one item?
I think we should keep it more official and avoid a double type change.
Also just cause a animal does something in real life doesn't mean it has to be a type that suits that when it becomes a Pokemon, like how drapion is most definitely an scorpion but it doesn't have bug type (I don't get why it's dark type) or how frogs can't live without water but Croagunk and Toxicroak are poison/fighting type.

I am almost one hundred percent sure it shouldn't learn Steel Wing. But for moves what about something like Tailwind, Sandstorm [as mentioned above], Sky Drop, Rollout (armadillo?), Silver Teeth, Wreckingball (again, armadillo?), Tornado, Circulate, and Wind Surf. What if the dexes mentioned something about it starting massive sandstorms when together and dustdevils when alone?

@The Chimera Virus: I have got an idea! It can be Steel/Ground type! Hooray problem solved.

I am currently working on concept art and I have Fairichi roughly finished but Giandilenda (may need a new name) needs some work.
I need to go to sleep now but I think it's move list should have lots of moves that are related to wind blowing, not so much flying.

I think for Fairichi we have the abilities Sand Veil and Battle Armor, and for its evo we keep Battle Armor and swap Sand Veil for Speed Boost.
Over possible, more obscure, abilities could be Heat Proof, Moldbreaker or Well Polished.
Which ones do you guys think we should have?

Edit: a name for the eve could be Turbontes (TURBine+PriodONTES(scientific name for giant armadillo))

@ Bgreymon: Thanks. I thought of sand stream when Rahjet (or whoever it was) said they could make giant sandstorms in a group and I thought "Why not, they make sandstorms when their turbines are running."
Now, I still need Dex Entries and the levels they learn the moves at, any ideas?
Edit: @ jbugs123: I originally named it "Possibly the first Steel/Wind in History" because at the time I wasn't sure if there was another Steel/Wind suggested, and there wasn't any when I searched the Archives; I also searched Wind/Steel, nothing turned up.
