So basically what we have here is a Houndoom that's "grown all big and eaten too much steroids." I am not entirely convinced if that's enough of a base to roll with - though granted it is NOT a friggen' cerberus again. Generally I'd like to think that pokemon is something else SIDES "an evolution/first form of this pokemon we all like." A creature of its' own. I feel I want to be able to look at a pokemon, and say "yea, I like it as it stands" - no matter which evolutionary stage it is. If pokemon is not much more than a "bigger, badder version of X", I'm not sure it's necessary evolution to begin with. But I digress.

(While I'm not sure I really like the idea of a Houndoom evo of any sort(I am okay with it being relatively average, but awesome), I'll let that slide and analyze the idea as it stands.)

Take a look at what Houndoom stands to learn: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/229.shtml - that's a whole lot of difference in amount and moves learned. If a pokemon doesn't change type upon evolution and/or it evolves via level, their move lists are usually relatively similar. Also it seems Beat Up is bit too high in there, considering Houndour learns it at lvl 27... and Houndire at 72. But those are relatively minor things. Move lists are an integral, but easily changed, part of these things.

I can see why the ability would change to Intimidate, but I would probably encourage having another alternative ability, seeing as its' prevos sport 'em.

Stats are okay, although it seems this is a majorly physically oriented beastie - makes me wonder why the stats are just those of Houndoom plus 5-10 each(AKA: why is it's SpAtk way higher than Atk). Yes, I realize it's 'cause it is a Houndoom evo and "stats of evolutions should match" - but not necessarily so. The relative stats of evolutions don't have to "match" if another characteristic(like the physical size, muscles etc.) tells otherwise. Stats should match the pokemon and not the evolution line.
