Multiple sources have confirmed that Nintendo is planning to reveal an HD Wii successor likely at E3 this year.

This is bad.
The Wii was something new, something creative. That's Nintendo's charm. Coming up with something that's the same, just a bit better isn't very appealing.
I really hope this isn't Nintendo's entry in the upcoming generation. If it is, the big N's losing it.

Um, the rumors are actually talking about a machine significantly more powerful than the Xbox 360 and the PS3, so it isn't something just a bit better... Anyway, Kotaku has a good summary of the rumors here.
