So the Fifth Generation is underway. We've gotten a lot of pokemon. Unfortunately, a lot are crap (I'm looking at you Genie Trio, Keldeo, and Vanillite Line!) So I want to see which ones you thought actually were good. I'm personally going to do a Top Ten, but you guys can do whatever you want. Here are my 10 favorites.

1. Serperior (Hands down the starter to choose.)

2. Conkeldurr (I see why people could dislike him, but first off, he's grown on me since I've added him to my team, and secondly, and this is one I found it through research, Conkeldurr is elderly, and those concrete blocks ARE HIS WALKING CANES!!! Awesomeness gained 22 levels right there!)

3. Whimsicott (Ever since one of my friends started drawing it, I realized how much I truly like it. It's adorable!)

4. Deino (My friend, the one who drew Whimsicoot, is OBSESSED with this guy. She's been drawing him non-stop. I love him too, but not as much as she does. Hydreigon's cool, but not as cool.)

5. Carracosta (The Fossil I chose, because he's so much more awesome than Archeops, although Archeops is kinda cool too.)

6. Zoroark (Awesome guy. Ever since he was revealed, I had hopes for the new generation, which were unfortunately kinda crushed.)

7. Galvantula (There's just something about him that says, "Hey, I'm awesome. And you know it!")

8. Chandelure (SO CREEPY/CUTE!!!)

9. Braviary (Love this guy. He's so amazingly epic. I wish he was in Black, cause that's the one I got.)

10. Reshiram (The reason I got Black. Zekrom is cool, but HOLY CRAP IT"S FREAKIN RESHIRAM!!!)

CLOSE NOMINATIONS: Krokorok and Krookodile, Genesect, Zekrom, Virizion, Hydreigon, Eelektross, Reuniclus, Zorua, Cofagrigus, Scrafty(he's kinda growin on me), Scolipede, Gigalith, Zebstrika

Also, unlike others, I'm not a big hater of Garbodor. I kind of hate his basis, but I like him in an ugly-cute way. :P

1.- Serperior

2.- Musharna

3.- Seismitoad

I don't like Seismitoad. He looks really weird. I hate Mandibuzz's name, and I don't like his design much either. Braviary pwns him. You're right about Galvantula, though.

I guess you could say it's so amazing that we're right. XD

Oh and I knew from the start that a female-only vulture wouldn't be so accepted by the pokémon gamers in general, so I already expected that, no worries, I still like it! =D

did I say mienfoo? I meant mienshao. His weird arm extensions make me happy. And he is a purple fighting type. And he evolves at level 50. Okay the last thing doesn't really make me happy but oh well.

I really haven't played Gen V/Seen the Pokémon enough to have a favorite. The only ones that I don't like are Throh, Sawk, and Simipour (it looks terrible).

I think Vanilluxe and Garbodor are some of GF's silliest designs, but to me that makes them so memorable and lovable. I also like all of the new Bug-types, not only because they are my favorite type, but because their designs are easily my favorite and thanks their stats I can actually use them without having a hard time deciding whether or not I want to keep them 'cause they're lagging with the rest of my team. (I'm looking at you, Mothim, I like you so much but your defenses and speed are very mediocre...)

So to sum it up:

1. Vanilluxe
2. Garbodor
3. Shelmet, Accelgor
4. Venipede, Whirlipede, Scolipede
5. Larvesta, Volcarona
6. Sewaddle, Swadloon, Leavanny
7. Karrablast, Escavalier
8. Durant

Oh, there were other pokemon in this generation? Okay, fine:

Tepig. It's so cute. Too bad it evolves into one big fugly ass boar. Do I ever regret my starter choice, because...
Serperior. Because it's a Grass type AND a lizardy Grass-starter.
Purrloin and Liepard. So adorable.
Blitzle and Zebstrika. I love zebras, don'cha know it?
Maractus. It's a Grass-type Spinda(who doesn't quite suck as much combat-wise), what's not to love?
Tirtouga. Too bad it too evolves into something less... good-looking.
Zorua. Too bad it too... yeah.
Sawsbuck. It's winter form is so cuddly!
Joltik and Galvantula. Kind of cute, 'specially for being spiders. And cool typing.
Cubchoo. Too bad... seeing a pattern yet?
Durant. Steel/Bug that I can actually like? What do you know. Too bad they messed up with Heatmor.

Aside from those, I think pretty much every other pokemon in fen V are freaking butt-ugly. Some are interesting type combos, learn cool stuff and have interesting abilities, but the fact that I can't stomach the in-game sprites kind of ruins it for me(here's looking at you, Stunfisk and Golurk - please hang your head in shame now).

...did I mention Mienshao? 'Cause I like her.
