JDLJDL: Hello, and sorry to everyone who waited a long time. And now, the long postponed events...

JDLJDL: Holy crap, remember this thing?
Bob: You say that too much.
JDLJDL: I do, I do. But here we are to-day, at the Pokélympia Aquatic Stadium number 1. Now, unlike normal human swimming pools, this pool is a whopping 200 meters long. This means that each contestant will swim exactly 4 laps, or 1600 meters. What's the weather today, Bob?
Bob: The sky is clearing up, we'll see some good sunny days next week. The temperature in the stadium is 27 degrees Celsius, and it is 24 degrees Celsius in the pool. A nice, warm temperature.
JDLJDL: Thank you, Bob. Now, shall we start with the event?

The contestants ready themselves, placing their feet/tentacles on the side of the pool for a boost. Magneton floats over. Parts of its body starts glowing. Empoleon looks like it's better than everyone else. Samurai narrows its eyes.
BOOM! Magneton explodes into an ear-breaking Sonicboom. Bowser starts spinning rapidly and skids along the surface like a polished stone, propelling itself with its cannons. Following it is Vaporeon, sliding gracefully in the water, almost blending right into it. Octillery imitates a jet and blows a dark fluid out of its mouth. The fluid muddles up Samurai's movement. Swampert is caught into it as well, but its "radar" on its head allows it to navigate around the otter easily. Flipper skids along the surface as well. 

JDLJDL: Look at Flipper. Its streamlined body and special coat of feathers allows it to travel through the water easily. Oh, look, it's approaching Bowser!
Bob: Yes, yes it is. Do you think it'll overtake Bowser?
JDLJDL: Well, see. Blastoise there is firing some high-pressure Hydro Pumps to propel itself. Although Flipper is also a water type, it will surely be knocked back by the water without some large force supporting its forward motion. 
Bob: And it did. Looking at the one tailing the group, Samurai seems to be struggling in Octillery's Octazooka. Dewott is an unevolved Pokémon. While its speed is quite high, it doesn't stand a chance against some of the more powerful Pokémon. For example, Blastoise.
JDLJDL: Yes. Its pumps are forcing Vaporeon, Octillery, and Empoleon in a tight group behind it.
Bob: Well, Swampert looks resourceful. It seems to be... is that Muddy Water?

Swampert summons a large wave of muddy water, about 3 meters tall and rides on top of it. It easily overtakes the Blastoise but crashes on the edge of the pool. While it did not faint, it seems to be dazed from the impact. Blastoise reaches the side of the pool and crashes into the Swampert, flinging Axolotyl halfway into the pool.

JDLJDL: Who knew that could've resulted in an advantage?
Bob: Well, Axolotyl better recover soon, the others are catching up.

Indeed they are. Octillery's eyes seem to be adapted to murky water and it holds onto Bowser. The blastoise does a flip in the air to go back. Aqua and Flipper take this opportunity and overtake Bowser. Cephalobe launches itself off of Bowser's shell and blasts forwards. Bowser then returns to its usual routine of spinning, but this time it pushes the three Pokémon forwards. The force of the water also dissipates the muddy water and washes Dewott away. It... doesn't seem to be doing so well.

Bob: Oh, look! Flipper's getting serious.
JDLJDL: It's Drill Pecking that Octillery. I can't believe this is even legal.
Bob: *foo* Well, see. It's legal in some areas in Terroh. I mean, look, it's not even all that harmful. All those things about causing cancer and stuff, they're myths.
JDLJDL: I'm not talking about your doobie. Also, Nuzlocke is great.
Bob: Oh. Well. *foo*
JDLJDL: Give me one later. Anyway, Empoleon has just tackled down the Vaporeon, and used Brine against the already-damaged Swampert. Smart move.
Bob: Ooooone is the looonelist number you'll ever doooooooo~
JDLJDL: This is the last lap. It has already been 46 seconds, and if any of our Pokémon can finish the lap in under 16 seconds, it's a new world record.

*Boring things*

JDLJDL: And, congratulations, elementalpenguin. Your elemental penguin has won the race. Good job.
