(Edit: took Checkmate out of lightweight and put Mr. Trousers in instead, added Mr. Trousers and Samurai to the scavenger hunt and put Skar instead of Emolga in the fly, I also added Samurai to the double tennis)

@Oran: Hm, well, Emolga is allowed. However, since it's a flying squirrel that requires updrafts, you'll be better off using Skarmory. It's still your choice. Also, Bisharp is not eligible for leightweight weightlifting.

Oh and, to everyone. I forgot to add this, but Scavenger Hunt requires 3 Pokémon to enter.

Remember, join in as many events as possible.

Oh. I juts looked through the Middleweights to see if there was a Bisharp the quick way: looking at all the red boxes and seeing if there was one with a Bisharp on it. Too bad Bisharp's not a Fighting type.

JDLJDL: Hello everyone! Welcome to the 5th ever moder Pokélympics! I am your host, JDLJDL. It is my job to report the happenings of these events to all of you, to provide to you the amazing experience of the Pokélympics, no matter if you are participating or sitting in front of the television, in front row seats or listening to the radio. Next to me is my co-host, Bob! How are you today?

Bob: Very well indeed, I must say. To those who may not know, we are currrently at the Pokélympia Main Stadium awaiting the start of the opening ceremony. The roof of the Stadium is closed, and it is quite dark in here. The weather today is overcast, though it probably will not affect the events.

JDLJDL: Thank you, my generically named friend. What is about to begin is, so far, the largest Pokélympiad festival to date. We are broadcasting live to the entire Kan-Joh subcontinent, the Sevii Islands, Orange Islands, Hoenn, Bombur, Unova, selected cities in Sinnoh and other regions, and of course, Terroh. But let us not focus on me anymore, the ceremony is starting!

The center of the stadium starts glowing with Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, and Violet, the colors of the elusive Pokélyamp. A large hole opens up from leaves on the ground contracting like a camera aperture. A large glowing rectangular prism slowly rises out and spins slowly. The LED lights on the prism start projecting a video, a video of a golden bowl being raised from the sea. This is the bowl of the sacred fire, said to be left behind when Ho-oh and Pokélyamp crossed paths. Just as the bowl in the video reaches the top of the prism, the prism itself explods into fire, revealing the real bowl inside. Dozens of Pelipper fly out, carrying the bowl out of its resting spot and forming a massive waterspout. All the fires are put out, except a single one burning in the middle. As the Pelipper stop and the water falls, the bowl shows itself to everybody in the stadium, resting upon a beautifully crafted pillar glistening of gold and silver, quietly burning.

And then the contestants march in, but I won't bore you with that.

Come back later for the first event, the 1600 meter dash!

Contestants: NinjaWeasel (Flarsable, Weavile); Instrike (Void, Scolipede); Jolt (Fern5950, Jolteon); Kaboom (Oran5777, Typhlosion); Miner (Bgreymon, Excadrill); Glass (ElementalPenguin, Meinshao)

JDLJDL: Good evening, Bob!

Bob: Good evening to you too. Where were you? Looked all around.

JDLJDL: Me? I was only at the cafetaria.

Bob: Huh. Didn't see you. Anyway, the very first event of this year's Pokélympics is starting. You can see the contestants warming up, preparing for a big race.

JDLJDL: Yes. Up in the first lane is NinjaWeasle, Flarsable's Weavile. Look at it, tightening its muscles then relaxing them. This is Agility, I think?

Bob: You are right. In lane two is Instrike, Void's Scolipede. Its speed is its highest stat, despite its bulky appearance.

JDLJDL: And then we have Fern's Jolteon, or "Jolt", in lane three. Jolteon are know to run fast as lightning!

Bob: Kaboom is in lane four, a Typhlosion belonging to Oran. Is it... holding an oran berry?

JDLJDL: In lane five is Miner, Bgreymon's Excadrill. This Pokémon works best underground, but will it win in an aboveground race? Let us see.

Bob: And finally, in lane six, is Glass, EP's Meinshao. Its body seems to be well adapted to running. Before we start, let me point something out. See those Porygon 2 lining the side of the track? They prove invaluable in racing events. Their "Lock-On" move allows them to capture footage of Pokémon moving at high speeds, their Zap Cannon allows them to paralyze Pokémon that are disobeying the rules, their Magnet Rise allows them to hover, and a new technology allows them to transform when different flash drives are inserted.

JDLJDL: Okay, the contestants are lining up. In front of them floats a Magneton. It will do the countdown.

"MAG!" The top "Magnemite's" magnets start glowing.

"NE!" The left "Magnemite's" magnets start glowing.

"TON!" The right "Magnemite's" magnets start glowing. Magneton is shaking!

"BOOM!" A sudden Sonicboom onto itself from Magneton starts the race! As the contestants race off, Magneton crashes onto the ground, exhausted.

Currently in the lead is NinjaWeasle, being all ninja-y about it.

JDLJDL: Oh, hey, that Weavile is skating on a sheet of ice it created!

Bob: Reminds me of Ice Man.

Right after it is Jolteon, using Quick Attack it quickly dodge the slippery ice left behind by the Weavile. It glows bright yellow and uses Spark to blast itself forward.

Behind Jolteon is Instrike, using the move "Steamroller".

Then comes Sunday. I mean, Miner. It is in its "Drill Run" mode, taking advantage of Weavile's ice, like a bobsled. It just surpassed Instrike!

Glass, using Aerial Ace, slashes at Instrike while hopping over. It uses a Hi-Jump Kick and knocks Miner off of the ice. In a fit, Miner creates a Fissure under Meinshao, but it simply hops over the crack.

The last of the group, Typhlosion, is desperately trying to keep up by using Flame Wheel. It doesn't do much, however.

JDLJDL: Oh, look! Miner is going back to its old ways, sliding on Ninjaweavile's ice.

Bob: Yup. Hahaha, OH WOW! Instrike has just crushed Meinshao with its Steamroller! Glass certainly isn't made of glass however. It stands up and continues in the race. Seems pretty shaken up, though.

JDLJDL: And Instrikes continues, crashing into Miner and destroying its trail of ice. Miner is Steel/Ground type, however, and the attack did little damage, and Instrike breaks out of its rollout. Miner uses Hone Claws and latches onto Instrike. The Collipede tries to shake the Excadrill off, but it ended with little avail. As Collipede launches itself into a Steamroller again, Excadrill hides in the middle of Collipede, protected from damage.

Bob: Oh, this is the last lap!

JDLJDL: Indeed it is! The fourth lap has come, and Weavile is still in the lead. Jolteon is quickly catching up, and is followed by Instrike and Miner. Behind them is Typhlosion, then Glass. Instrike rounds the bend with superb drifting, and flattens Jolteon. Ouch...

Bob: Oh, and look! Weavile is annihilated by Steamroller as well! It's Super Effective! Critical Hit!

JDLJDL: Typhlosion is really catching up now! Its Flame Wheel does further damage to the two crushed rodents. Look, two Porygon II are floating over to heal the Pokémon and transport them back.

Bob: Last stretch! Meinshao seems really exhausted. Instrike and Miner are right in front of the finish line! Instrike uncurls itself to launch itself forwards, but Miner takes this opportunity and hops off of Instrike's head, taking Gold medal.

JDLJDL: What a freeloader.

Results!

Miner: GOLD (4 pts)

Instrike: SILVER (3 pts)

Kaboom: BRONZE (2 pts)

Glass: Fourth (1 pt)

Ninjaweavile: DQ (1 pt)
