yeah that was a weird pokemon. though it kind of had an appeal to me for some reason. Anyways I know we havn't really gotten to the stage but for moves it might be worth thinking about some dog style moves like odor sleuth, crunch, bite, growl, howl, cuddle, play dead, pounce or take down. Or maybe you want something more magical like wish, irate trance, hex claw, healing spell. I'm just throwing things around here

Hmm. Did do some thinking about this line.

I think a straight three would be better, plain 'ol level evolution is a staple for a reason.

Pixiepom->lvl 26->Flashpom->lvl 52->Pompoodle

The whole line could be Normal/Magic, which is an interesting combo to begin with. Pompoodle could then learn a few Dark-ish moves to compensate for it's less-than-nice nature. Whereas Flashpom would learn few of the more powerful Normal/Magic moves at later (53+) levels instead, something that highlights' its' difference from it's darker(no pun intended) evolution.

I would also make it so that the stat difference between Flashpom and Pompoodle wouldn't be that big, but rather something akin the difference of Scyther/Scizor or Dusclops/Dusknoir. That the change would be more about where the stats are and not how big the total is. That the difference would be in moves learned and abilities; I like the idea of Flashpom having a chance of being relatively stand-alone at times.

I realize this latter idea would perhaps make it more logical if Pompoodle evolved via a stone or trade evolution, though.

Oh, and also want these puppies to have the move compatibility akin to Nidos. Yes. *evil grin*

It's Flashpom the one we're deciding on, LOL. I just like Dixipom the best TBH, it sounds like a throwback to names like the Abra, Poliwag and Kling lines. Dunno how that's called though.
