Oh wow... the bright colours the be hurting my eyes. Well, not really, else I probably wouldn't be watching MLP:FiM...

But I digress. So we're talking about a pixie-sort of lil' doggy? Perhaps a fairy/pixiedust counterpart to Lillipup/Herdier/Stoutland?

Did a trip of researching on this dog family. Stumbled upon a whole colony of them, happily playing with Magic, with some Fire, Dark, Electric dashed in there. From what I could tell, anyway. Here's the visual of my observation:

These are not in size relation to each other: Pixiepom is the size of a Poochyena, or a bit smaller; Flashpom probably good triple of that, and Pompoodle was about the size of Great Dane, albeit a lot fluffier.

Based on my observations so far, there are two alternative observations regarding evolution. Either Flashpom and Pompoodle are alternative forms, or the latter is the final evolution of the former. Not sure if the names are correct, but anyway:
Pixiepom is the first form in either case, and is likely Normal, Magic or combination of the two.

Flashpom seems to be the second evo - or the alternative "natural" evolution. Normal or Magic with seemingly some knowledge of Fire or Electric moves, if not actually the type. They seemed to form the majority of the pack when I saw them, which would mean that most Pixiepom evolve into Flashpom naturally either way.

Now Pompoodle then. Seemed to be rarest form of the three, but I could not confirm if it evolves(or how it evolves) from Pixiepom or Flashpom, nor which type it actually is. From my observation there seemed to be a mix of Normal, Magic, Dark and even Fire/Electric in the moves they used.

These dogs seem to be rather fast, and very competitive; they seem to compare each other in the looks department(might explain why they liked to stay near the pond despite obviously not liking water) - and if not looks, then they are running. One would imagine that speed and the special stats form a bulk of their strong parts. Every now and then these contests devolved into straight up fights, and I was surprised to see the occasional Thunderbolt or Flamethrower, along with a myriad mix of other moves. I would think they have the learning capability nearing those of the Nidoroyals, and wouldn't think Mimic, Mirror Move or Copycat would be out of their reach in any way.
