No, I'm playing an Emerald hack called "Flora Sky". The champion is Cynthia (I have no idea why).

Gave up the challenge. While I like challenging fights, I do like them in a way where I can lose and try again - without starting the game from scratch when one unlucky crit screws you over.

Thus, I'll stay with what I know: going through the game(s) with teams that provide challenge in different ways. HeartGold with Vulpix/Growlithe/Dratini (not evolving them), the next 5th gen game with four Fighting types, etc. Oh, and I always go through my games without using (next to no) medicines in my Gym/E4 fights.

Kudos to anyone who has the patience to do the grindfest, though.

When life gives you lemons, you steal the sugar and put it on salt shakers.

Right?

I won't exactly stop playing. I'll say I lost the challenge officially but continue on.

OH LOOK WAT I BEAT THE ELITE 4
So I was all happy and strollin' and undefeatable with my super-kickass level 60 Pokémon. And then I went to the challenge islands and SAW EVERY TRAINER HAD LEVEL 60'S WHAT. Zebstrika died. I sent it against a Empoleon BUT IT KNEW EARTHQUAKE.
