Just about every generation of Pokemon had three games. For example: Generation I had Red,Blue and Yellow, Generation II had Gold,Silver and Crystal, Generation III had Ruby,Sapphire and Emerald, the last generation had Diamond, Peril and Platinum. So what will come after Black and White?

I doubt Gray - Black and White are part of the Yin Yang system, so I don't think Gray is appropriate. What you should be doing is looking at the third legendary of the trio and make guesses off that.

Actually, Kyurem is gray in color. It also likely based off of the concept of "wuji", or the absence of yin and yang. So, it's probably going to be Gray.

I wonder what they will do about the Black City/ White Forest area. Or the whole concept of modern vs. classic style for that matter.

Wind Mass Guess: it will be frozen instead. Like wuji to yin and yang, there's simply no competition. It's been frozen over by Kyurem. Opelucid has a blackout or something, and you fight Drayden & Iris in a Double Battle, like Liza & Tate back in Hoenn.

Actually, it was mentioned once, and the game developer and director was surprised to hear the rumor, and stated that he didn't recall ever saying that there would be no third version.

I don't want to say Gray for some reason. I want to say something creative. But I can't. Beacuase it will be Gray.

But I may not get it anyway. I'll be going after the Sapphire remake.

Ugh, I really hope they don't remake Ruby and Sapphire, at least not yet: The main problem with those games is that they forbid trading between gold and silver due to a lot of new features they added, like the abilities and probably EVs and IVs. Which led to the need of all the past versions beingremade, I think there was also no need to remake Gold and Silver but to be honest I´m glad they did, now communiations within every version is possible though feedback is not. The point is, now there would be no point in remaking those except taking advantage of fans to make money.

Yea, I'd rather hope the fifth gen gave us something more new than remakes of third generation. Kind of loses the point when I can still play my Emerald and transfer the pokeys all the way to my White, still... I would love if the game expanded to being able to go challenge some or all of the gyms and leagues of Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto & Kanto after you're done in Unova - and just in general, see what those places are like "few years afterwards."

I really like the idea of everything being frozen and a double battle in Opelucid. IT will be Gray though. Also, I'm fairly sure Kyurem will get a new form. Its ice armor will either shatter or cover it completely.

The 3DS has been released in Japan. By the time a third version is released, it'll be everywhere.

If there IS a grey version, then it'll be 3DS exclusive like Crystal was gameboy colour exclusive.
