@Devotchka: I suppose I should have realised that Chernobyl would be derived from something else, and thanks for the info! I did not know about previous slang association with radiation/poison, nor with the biblical relation.

Alright then, we're agreed on the new name of Zugraza, and that it is pure dark, but I think it would be better to call it the Phobia Pokemon, since I see this creature as representative of one's inner fears, so it would be more useful to the concept for it to be generalised, rather than specifically about one kind of phobia.
I f I may voice my thoughts: It's been established that this creature was born from the often-understated fear and distrust between humans and Pokemon. Being a Pokemon, it is not adverse to the idea of making friends, but since it is a manifestation of fear it would appear to anyone who sees it as their worst fear, being spiders or clowns or whatever. (kind of like a boggart from Harry Potter actually, but with only one form for well, our own convenience ) So being able to train the beast requires the player to have an understanding-- and acceptance-- of their own fears and shortcomings. This constitutes worthwhile development of the characters of both trainer and trainee.
So! that was a bit long for a justification for "Phobia", but still, I hope you consider that thought!

Keeping Twilight is fine, but in terms of other abilities I would go for something that is indiciative of fear, so either Intimidate or some made-up equivalent that lowers defense. Unless we already have made one of course I was also considering an ability that would cause the opponent to flinch If Zugraza was switched in on an incoming attack, but since we recently rejected/disowned a recent suggestion for attempting to create that very ability, I don't know how much credence it would hold with the other staff ^^;
And the movelist does need work, but right now I am too exhausted from a hard day's work to consider trying. I'll see what I can do tomorrow, unless someone else does it before then!
