This weekend, I got accepted for the Darkspore Beta test, and I was wondering, who else was, and whether you were or not, are you looking forward to the full release?

I still don't get the gameplay after searching a bit on google, does it resemble League of Legends or DotA in any way?

I'd rather have a new Parts Pack or Expansion for Spore, since I haven't found a legitamite reason to play the game other than making weird critters for my own amusement, or trying to get acheivements in Space Stage. As such, I vote Darkspore down.

I haven't searched much about it either, but if it is anything like the spore that is for the computer and is for the Wii or the DS I'll buy it.

Actually, except for the creature editor, Darkspore is *very* different from Spore, as it is an action RPG. You see, basically, you go about, from world to world, killing these evil hive-minded mutations called Darkspore, collecting parts and DNA points along the way, with which you can improve the powers of the various heroes you unlock to play with along the way. It's quite fun, actually.

So it's a sequel to Spore Hero, pretty much.

I guess it's something of a spiritual sequel, but in an entirely different setting, and the look and feel is much darker.
