I actually just took out my old copy of the book, just to look up its description:

"...he was big and gray with hard square-looking fingers. Where he should have had a face there was nothing but dark gray. Where he should have had eyes there was nothing but a darker colder-looking color." It talks about its four fingers else-where, and I was too lazy to find it. Otherwise it's pretty undescribed.

I like the general idea of it, but I dunno what you mean by making it "taller", since it's height wasn't given... And does changing a color really count as adding detail? >.<

@Therislash: Interesting idea about the arms. I know my vote doesn't count or anything, but I like 'em.

@Xer0- By taller, I meant that I pictured it about three feet tall in my head, so I sized it up a few feet. As for detail, I didn't want it to be just a bunch of cinder blocks, so I smoothed it out to actually look humanoid.

So, maybe some large spikes around its shoulders and on its wrists. It would make it look more... Pokemon-like. I'm not sure if it qualifies as "Uncanny Valley"-material, but let's avoid that altogether and change it for the better.

It doesn't. To me, it's a lot like a grey Waterwraith.

Actually, the steam rollers aren't its hands, since they break off.

i agree with flarsable when i read this i thought of the mirelurks [url=http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mirelurk] from fallout (without claws) and then the waterwraith but i think it is a good idea
