FUN FACT: Despite in-game text stating that young Ekans's bites are the least dangerous because they don't have any poison, in real-life, young snake's bites are the most dangerous, because not only can they secrete venom, but they inject all of their venom in a single bite, due to their inability to control their alveoli.

FUN FACT: In 2008, Japanese researchers discovered a new protein which helps carry electrical impulses from the eyes to the brain and named it "Pikachurin". According to the researchers, the decision was based on both Pokémon and protein possessing "lightning-fast moves and shocking electric effects".

Turns out Nidoran Female is the one that's actually next in the Pokedex.

Oh god. Oh how did Nidoran Female turn out so ugly. Oh god.

FUN FACT: Despite the addition of genders in all Pokémon starting in Generation II, the two variations of Nidoran remained separate species, rather than a singular species that splits down different evolution paths based on gender. An egg laid by a Nidoran Female does, however, have a chance of hatching into a Nidoran Male.

I've gotten a lot of work done today. Ten Pokemon in half an hour!!!
