Just so you know, it's really hard to improve if you don't take others' suggestions or copy the pose from someone else's art and not add all the details in... Yes, because you draw directly from Sugimori art every last detail has to be correct. No exceptions.
You're better off tracing, you know. Use a scanner.

EDIT: Your Bulbasaur is missing a leg.

Transfer, scanner, virtualization.
(I....could not resist....but, continue with that practice; I drew Pokémon with poses based on Sugimori art before, and quality-wise they looked much like yours do---they look better with experience.)

1. Tracing is for losers. Tracing them wouldn't show any talent. I'm don't want to draw that directly.
2. I'm getting a scanner for Christmas. This has been an issue for a MONTH. GET OFF MY BACK ABOUT IT.
3. The leg is hidden behind his body.

Alright, so some sort of internal server error is preventing me from getting on deviantART. I don't know if it was some sort of software update I'm unaware of or what, but I'm uploading this here first, as well as the updated version of the Charmander pic.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it through.

Next up will be Caterpie.

Haven't copied someone's art since I was about 10... 7 years of drawing my own designs. ^^ Bleh, if you won't listen I'm not sure why'd you post here though. Normally, people want to improve based on comments...

Yeah, I know it may be a bit weird to ignore advice, but the purpose of this project is not to IMPROVE my drawing ability, it's to USE IT to have fun drawing stuff I love.

Also, by 'detail', I didn't really mean the 'adding blotches on Bulbasaur wherever I freaking wanna' kind of detail. I meant the 'eyeballs not quite in the right position; head not shaped exactly right' kind of detail.

Pidgeotto's wings are either too pale or the light is hitting them just right that they appear that way. Other than that (A lot of "that"s in succession)they are TO SCALE.
