So far, these are the only 4 anime characters that is or once was on Ash's party that did NOT own at least 6 pokemon. (With max, he never had one!) So, I've been thinking of how to fill in those gaps.

So let me ask my pokemon anime fans out there, what pokemon would fit these people?

Max: The Ralts he met, particularly if he somehow meets with Ash later if he cons his way into convincing the officials he's ten. An Abra would also fit his calculating nature, and cannot be the opposite of aesthetic preferences (although he likes all Pokémon) but it might be redundant if he already has a Ralts. A Seedot is easy to imagine for him.

Tracey: Smeargle. It makes sense.

Iris: Er, maybe a Bagon or a Spearow?

Dent: (Eh, I preferred Dento, but he is going to have a different name anyway. Maybe Dylan.) Gallade. He's a waiter (sommelier), waiters are polite and respectful, and so are Gallade. The green color of a Gallade would match his hair too. It could imaginably hold a cloth napkin in a crooked elbow, too. Maybe a Swablu, because they like to be clean.

Lucky for you, I know of all those characters. I stopped watching the anime around the beggining of the fourth generation, due to Dawn, though I may start watching the fifth generation anime.

Max should get the Ralts he met, who evolves into a Gardevoir, because, I can't see Max with a Gallade. Meditite might be a good addition to his team, with its intellect and brawn. I could definitely see Max with a Surskit. With his childish yet intelligent behaviour, Baltoy would be good for him. Basurao (Blue Stripe Form) could be a good one. And lastly, definitely a Paras. Max would like cute bug types.

Tracey, to fill up his team, will need a Smeargle, for obvious reasons. I could also see him with a Kecleon. Due to Tracey often being mocked or made fun of in fandom, give him an Oshawott to lampshade this.

Iris requires a Horsea, to go with the 'cute little Dragon-type' theme set by her Kibago. I could also see her with a Skarmory, despite it not being Dragon-type, even though she apparently does have a Doryuuzu on her team. Swablu, yet again to go with the 'cute Dragon-type relatives theme'. Perhaps a Sneasel?

Dent, hmm, this will be tough. Maybe a Mamanbou or Luvdisc due to his ability to see trainers and their Pokémons capatibility? Shikijika is a must. Throw in a Snivy for good measure. Due to me being unable to decide the rest, I would vote for going with Kaburumo and Chobomaki.

Pokémon Factory Worker

Max and Tracey are the only ones I know, so I'm gonna add bits and pieces. Too bad Jirachi was legendary, Max liked that one.

Max could do with (in addition to above) something playful that he can enjoy. I don't see Abra or Seedot being too friendly so I say give him a Skitty or Azurill. Also, his dad is Norman so I wouldn't hold it against him to have a powerhouse like Slakoth or it's evolutions. Also, you have to take into account the pokemon he has befriended. I looked it up, and Bulbapedia has a fair list. Any self-respecting trainer will go after pokemon they like. Max has bonded with these species before, so I'm sure he'd be interested. Of those, I'd say Shuppet, Poochyena, and Shroomish.

Tracey already has his famous trio of Marill, Venonat and Scyther. Smeargle would make a reasonable addition to the team, so that's not a bad idea. That brings us to four. I think as far as pokemon locating goes, he could have used a Houndour. Dog pokemon have good sense of smell, and where Marill or Venonat fail, a Houndour might succeed. Houndour because, frankly, he lacks a fire type. A Fearow would suit him nicely too, considering he works in the field a lot and Fly is a very helpful addition. That'd cover 7 pokemon, more then enough, and Bulbapedia says he had an Azurill egg, so possibly more. (ha, Tracey beat Brock as a breeder)

Isn't their also a possibility that could have a dodrio as well? He rode one in his debut episode, and it wasn't specified whether it was his or not. Based on that, smeargle and houndour are two additions I agree with.

I do agree that having ralts, poocheyena, shuppet, and shroomish should be for max, but I'm not sure about others suggested.

He'd have to get a new Poochy, since the other one belonged to a Trainer of the day. Also, no Skitty for Max since May already has one.

I have no idea what new Pokemon this four characters could have.

I doubt Iris or Dent will have any pre-Gen V Pokémon. Isshu doesn't have any of them, remember?
