I was reading the Normgon SuperDex entry, and I saw that it mentioned Spring and a question brought itself into my head. It was saying "How do seasons work in PF? Are they the same as in BW or do they operate on a three-month at a time schedule?" I'm going to say the former, since we have forumers from both hemispheres. There's also a third alternative, which is having Bombur work on a different season plan where Spring is in Northern Summer and Summer in Northern Fall and stuff...

How about seasons work in real time, lol, makes life easier. Seasons being

December-February - Winter
March-May - Spring
June-August - Summer
September - November - Autumn

Typically. How's that?

For the PFL, I thought you just make it whatever season, and have time progress the way you want.

Yeah, players are free to decide what season it is and how fast the seasons change, as long as the seasons change in the correct order :P

For those looking for rules, like Deckadecu said, you could follow what he posted above.

@Decku & ShinE: The problem is, those seasons are only real time for half of the world. The other half, down South, has the opposite cycle, with Fall being Spring, Summer is Winter, etc.

Most of PF is northern Hemisphere for one thing, and typically, people associate the seasons with the months I named anyway. Again, if you wish to do your own thing, feel free to.

Yeah, do people on the Southern hemisphere see Winter as June, July and August then? You're free to go with that - that's the freedom the PFL offers :D - as long as your travelling companion(s) agree(s) ^-^

Here's an interesting question. Maybe we can start making evolutions based on seasons? There are many PF pokemon that look like they should be able to *coughmidicecough*

Evolving based on a season (like levelling up during summer) would definitely be allowed in new suggestions. We won't change evolution methods of existing PF Pokémon, though.

It's not a "see" thing, rather than a "the Earth being tilted on its axis effects the Southern Hemisphere inversely to the Northern one" Remember, it's Winter when we're tilted away form the sun, and in that case the other half is facing towards it :D

Yeah, when you're surrounded by snow, you tend to "see" it as Winter.
