Anyways, I find the update to be astounding. Really, amazing, you staff people.

...I just realized this is probably my first post somewhere other than Hypotheticus Zoo for about a week or so.

I did too! But then again, I made the sprite, so I already knew about its pose and angle :P I'm glad to hear everyone is getting it now, all thanks to the new sprite :D And we're all glad you all like Soothean more now ^-^

@The Chimera Virus: Ah yes, the old shiny. Well, it works like this: the shiny is based on the regular sprite. By using colors of Nintendo sprites, I can select them fairly easily. For Soothean's DPPt sprite (which is viewable in Easpot's and Soothark's SuperDex entries and on the National Dex) I used different colors than I did in its RSE sprite. As a result, shiny DPPt Soothean differs in color from shiny RSE Soothean. This happened with a lot of DPPt revamps we did. And, don't worry, shiny DPPt Soothean matches shiny Easpot and shiny Soothark ^-^

ShinE's the shine master. He can make Pokemon whatever color he wants, if you want an in-context explanation.
EDIT: Um, did you guys forget to add the shiny link when you re-formatted the National Dex? Because ShinE doesn't bring us there anymore.

Flarsable's right. ShinE's shine stars would be the in-game explanation :P Anyways, Nintendo has done some different colorings before too (compare GSC Bellossom to RSE Bellossom for example), so it's not that big a deal. The latest version is always the correct one and overwrites an older version ^-^

@Flarsable: Yeah, it has not been added yet. That's because we were thinking of adding a different link, or maybe links to SuperDex entries. We haven't decided that yet. You can add "shiny" after "national" manually though, which will bring you to the shiny page. For now, that'll be the only way, until we decide what to do with the page ^^

CrazE inspired me.

(ShinE is based on an uppercase E, TinE is based on a lower case E, and CrazE is based on a cursive E, which quite resembles the letter 3.)

CrazE, the Nutcase Pokémon. With a mere touch, it can transform Pokémon into funky but sloppily applied and impermanent colors. Researchers often mistake it for its elusive relative, ShinE, prior to putting their glasses back on.
(Nutcase, in the pattern that ShinE is the Uppercase Pokémon. The second Pokédex entry is because, although it bears similarity to ShinE, no person of decent vision would ever mistake it for ShinE.)

TinE is to ShinE like Phione is to Manaphy, i.e. ShinE breeds TinE, but TinE cannot evolve into ShinE ^-^

Oh. Nice!

You know what I just remembered? I had a Pokemon idea long ago that was impossibly similar to Tiquail, Sparquail, and Kwiquail. They were Kidwi, Kirwale, and Goroozen. I think I may resurrect them with a new Pokemon.

Judging by the names, your line sounds like they're based off of kiwi birds, not quails. I'm not sure how impossibly similar they are if that's the case.
