Okay, things have happened. Namely, these two things.

Okay, so how is this league actually going to be organized? There's three models I've thought of, and here they are in order of preference for me.

1. Crash Team Racing model

Here's how the hierarchy here works.

- League Champion (Resident Oxide)
- Time Champion (Resident N.Tropy)
- Boss Key holders x 4 (Resident... Evil.. FOOOOOUR)
- Everyone else.

Time Champion is the person who has the most best times in the time trials, by the way.

Essentially, you get to league champion by racing the current league champion in a track of their choice, (or possibly multiple tracks if that's going to be better). But you can't race the league champion without the four boss keys. You have to get them from the people who hold them. But you can't get THEM unless you have the correct password challenging them, which is when you have to get four trophies and then pick a key holder to challenge. You get trophies from winning any match, and providing some sort of evidence, like a save state, or your opponents agreement, or a video. Then when you have four, you put up your thing on a "list of people waiting for a boss challenge" and apply for a boss to challenge you (you can choose which).

At this point, the bosses pick someone (it could be YOU) and they might have some sort of video of a kart model of them or something doing a speech like Oxide and Ripper Roo do in Adventure Mode, with a boss garage opening, and some sort of password that you use for authentication in the race chat. Some of them might have to have a handicap. If you beat them, they give you a key, but keep their position. If you beat the champion, then you are the champion - but the league champion already has all four boss keys, so they can challenge you again at any time.

If this gets fairly big, we may have to have more than four bosses, but still have only four boss keys required to challenge the Resident Oxide.

2. Pokemon Style

I think you can guess.

3. Ladder style

There's a ladder of people. You go up by winning and proving that you won. Pretty simple, and boring.

None of these means we rule out tournaments and cups and circuits and that sort of thing. That's just the structures I've thought of. As for who the Boss Key holders could be,

- Me. (no, really?)
- Sneaky (he's genuinely good at these sorts of things)
- B-bonzairob? (i have no idea how good he is at this game)
- Tricky (perhaps)


Also one other thing

We should totally make some sort of support program/plugin that plays different music, or maybe even those intros, and makes the racers say the things you want them to say or something. It could be something simple where you turn off voice and music and have another program up playing music and pre-rec taunts specific to the user you're racing, or it could be something complicated and plugin/moddy.
