.....wow. (Subconscious-obsessed) little Freud is now a Pokémon fan.

.....wow. So, Darkrai induces nightmares, but Nightmera creates them. Nightmera is a cow and Darkrai is the milkman, so to speak. All these distinct definitions are so unique and interesting. Poryhedron embodies the medium of information, Uxie represents the ability to access it, and Cognimech represents the "machinery" to process it. Mesprit represents emotions, bringing it about, and Drakoniric represents its mental embodiment---being comprised of emotions, instead of merely having a "representational" correlation to it; being connected to the property at a more basic level.

I'm glad you all liked this mini-update. Coolsteph, that analysis was spot-on! ^^

The overlaps in concept with the Lake Trio partly stem from the fact that, when these pokémon were first conceived, D/P still wasn't out and not much was known about the new pokémon. Fortunately, I ended up approaching the concepts from a different angle than Nintendo's. The backstory also included a Dream World long before they decided to include one in Pokémon Black and White, a coincidence we capitalized on.

This is more than coincidence. My worst fears have been realized....Nintendo has gotten an undercover agent to become a staff member here, steal ideas from us, and then make them official, implanting ideas in our minds that it was mere coincidence.

Anyways, I like the art and backstory.

Perhaps there's a secret abandoned laboratory in Bombur with some sort of prototype dream machine like in B/W?

We'll see, but it's probably better to leave the details until we learn more about the new games and how they handle the Dream World. Who knows, maybe further adjustments will be necessary.
