Xavier, not in the mood to eat, bit into the berry once and split the rest between Fyllo and Myga. Bored from the long walk, he asked Lance a random question. "Do you think it could be considered cannibilizam if you feed, say, a Cherubi a Cheri Berry?" Things like this continued on for a while, and then nightfall was reached.

Once again the tent was pitched up, but Lance and Xavier weren't sleeping. Instead, they were sitting down and talking about random topics. Then, Lance asked a spontaneous request.

Xavier considered this for a moment, and then spoke, "Okay.". He then got out of the leafy tent, and sent out Fyllo. He waited for Lance to get Possesword out of its scabbard.

Lance lashed Possessord out of the scabbard and got into an attack position.

"Give me your best shot!" Lance shouted. "Possord!!" the sword shouted also.

Fyllo bustled about, and Xavier shouted. "Fyllo! Use Absorb!" The lizard-like creature trilled, and glowed a steady green. This green extended to Possesword, but stopped at it's handle. A green light then extended between them, and white light coming from Possesword drifted along towards Fyllo.

The green energy disappeared as Lance's hands felt shaky. "Aerial Ace!" Possessord's blade became outlined in white as Lance ran towards the Fyllo.

((Sorry for not posting in so long!))

"Try and dodge it, Fyllo!" Xavier called. His Pokemon jumped up as the blade lunged at him, missing it by an inch. Fyllo, though it was not told to do so, jumped onto the glowing white sword, though the aura burned his feet. He attacked the handle of the sword, trying to knock it out of the hands of Lance. Of course, this failed, and Fyllo was shook of easily.

Lance struck the sword into the ground, and then he pulled out a box with a disc inside. "This is called a TM. It can teach a pokemon a move that it can't normally learned naturally." He then glanced at it. "This one contains Drain Punch. It allows the pokemon to gain hp, like absorb, while also dealing physical damage."

Xavier looked at the small disc. He knew what a TM was, but did not interupt Lance. "Cool. Thanks." Xavier said, taking the small machine. He handed the TM to Fyllo, who gnawed on it curiously. The metallic surface of the disc melted away, and odd burgandy sparkles surrounded Fyllo. Fyllo, as if to test his new power, randomly punched a tree. A red-white aura surrounded his appendages, and once contact was made, were absorbed into the tree, and back into the Holliguana. "Okay, that's just awesome." Xavier said, expecting something much less fanatical. "Again, thanks." He said, turning to Lance.

"No problem," Lance replied. He then noticed the tailow in the tree nearby. "Why not try catching that over there?" He motioned over to a tree with a bird inside it.

((Actually, I don't want to catch the Taillow. I just added it for detail. If I mention a random pokemon, don't automatically assume that it will be an important plot device.))

"Okay." Xavier said. "Fyllo, use Drain Punch!" Xavier called. The small reptile did as told, punching the bird with the same burgandy aura as before. It cawed as it's energy was drained. The Taillow started wildly flapping, stirring a a breeze, along with dirt, leaves, and feathers. In the distraction, the Pokemon managed to fly away. "Better luck next time." Said Xavier, not minding.

"Well, I'm going to bed," Lance said as he pulled Possessord out of the ground. "See you tomorrow. And keep practicing that punch Fyllo." He crawled into the tent and went to sleep.

Xavier, however, stayed up the entire night. He and Fyllo practiced techniques, and once Fyllo had mastered Drain Punch, switched to Myga. Suddenly, there was a slight rustle in the bushes. "Myga, Tickle the foliage." Xavier said suspicously, gesturing at the noisy bushes. Myga did as told, buzzing over to the plants and making odd slurping noises. Somebody yelped, and a deep voice called out, "Attack them, Castform! Sunny Day! Weather Ball!" The voice ordered, while a flashing light fevealed itself to be a small white Pokemon. From the Pokemon sprung rays of light, and the newly-rising sun shot out an intense amount of heat. Slowly, the Castform transformed into a red-orange orb with smaller spheres orbiting it. A white ball then revealed itself infront of the sun-like creature, which slowly shifted colors until it was orange ball that emitted heat. Suddenly, the orb shot out at Myga, and burned her exoskeleton. The bug thrashed around in the air, and slowly drifted downwards. "Lance!" Xavier called in a hurry, while freeing Fyllo's Pokeball from a deep pocket. He tossed the ball open, and the small green lizard emerged. Knowing what to do, it threw itself at the Castform with a burgandy-glowing fist balled up, aimed at the small spherical Pokemon. Xavier fumbled a few berries out of one of his many pockets, and fed them to the fainting Myga. Fylllo, jumping at the Castform, managed to block out the intense sunlight for long enough that the Castform began to change back to its original white form. The glowing fist connected with the newly-transformed Pokemon, and the familiar white orbs floated back towards Fyllo after the hit. By the time Lance fumbled out of the makeshift tent, the Team Comet Grunt had ran away, and Xavier and Fyllo were tending to Myga's burns.

Lance heard the call and ran out of the tent, seeing a grunt with a castform. He woke possessord up and grabbed it, running outside. "This is starting to become fun!" Lance remarked, "I think I want to take this guy out myself."

(OOC: During this battle, I'd like Possessord to adapt a new move from combining aerial ace with Castform's Weather ball: Fire or Ice.)

The grunt ran as fast as he could. He sent out another Castform, and stuffed a sour herb down the throat of the first. "Sunny Day and Hail!" He shouted, and ice and fire burst around the pair of Pokemon, making them resemble a Glairnus. Quickly, their forms changed into a sun and a swirl-like object. "Weather Ball!" The Team Comet member commanded.

"Iron defense!" Lance held possessord to guard as it started to glow. The two weather balls collided into the blade and tried to push Lance backwards. Then, somehow, they both got absorbed into the blade, and created an explosion. After the explosion, the blade glowed a sharp orange.

((OOC: Sorry to control your character, but...))

Lance swung the sword Pokemon to the left and a blue aura followed the blade. He swung it to the right, and red aura followed. Lance, amazed and confused, swung the sword in a circle. A small oragne swirl appeared in the middle. "Tempest Blade!" He shouted, making up the name on the spot. He then slashed wildly at the two Castform, while Possesword remained silent and noncommittal. The two Castform, crestfallen and defeated, shrunk back to their master. The man paniced and ran. Lance, to hurry him on his way, spun Possesword and sent a heat-and-cold-emitting cyclone after him, which left an orange trail in it's tracks.
