You both got one half of the name origins right, it's from Okapi and fry. It's related to Ponyta and Blitzle (and girafarig I guess) but its not actually a hybrid.

Pobandit, the Morose Pokémon.
Having lost proficiency with its tongue, it instead downs prey with clawed strikes, slicing them apart. (103 characters)
It lures in sympathetic Pokémon with a morose demeanor, then lashes out on them when they least suspect it. (108 characters)

(It is based on a species of frog with bony, retractable claws on its hind legs.)

If you want it to be. I initially meant it to better reflect Politoed by not gaining a type change, but since this is an offshoot of your own evolutionary line, you can change the type as you wish.

EDIT: Here is my design for the Politoed alternate thing.

Limneer (LIMNodynastes (part of scienitific name for Spotted Grass Frog) + chEER)
The Cheerful pokemon
Ground/Grass type
Info: Limneer lives in damp areas near streams and rivers and they ferry Pobonks from each side of the streams to the other, as the Pobonks are too scared to cross themselves.
It dances around cheerfully and is very optimistic. Because of this it is sought after by trainers as a companion.

The leaves on its head are because I saw the flower patterns on the prevos and so I looked to incorporate them into its design, so it is part lilypad.
And yes I tried to make it kind of opposite to Pobandit.

Okay, I really like both of the Politoed alternates so far. I'd like to know how both of them evolve.

I like that you worked with the theme of the flower shape in the belly Bgreymon, whereas Coolsteph inexplicably turned it into a spiral. I also love how you incorporated the previous evolutions in one of the dexes, just like Politoed's Pokedex mentions its relationship with Poliwag. For those reasons I'm leaning towards Limneer (although I don't actually like the name) even though, overall design wise, I like them both equally. I might make new prevos for Pobandit so it can still exist.

Very neat idea. Why have to search for an oasis if you have your own personal one on you back? For some reason I especially adore Camasis's legs. I don't know why, but I do. And, why are their oases spouting water? Real ones don't do that.

Originally Camasis was going to be called Camaspout. And if they couldn't spout water how would they use most water attacks?And I don't know that much about oases but some might have natural springs that make them spout? I don't know. Either way I think it's irrelevant. And thank you for the compliments.

Could you make your mind about Nuckulava's type? Dark/Ghost seems the most reasonable type, with Fire-type powers on the side.

I suppose so. But Nuckelavees, which it's based on, are vanquished by water.

So if you insist on two type restriction, I'd have to say Fire/Dark or Fire/Ghost. Fire/Undead would actually be more accurate since it isn't ethereal.

Yeah, it's based on the creepiest mythological creature I know of, the Nuckelavee. I wanted to create a psuedo-legendary that was on par with Lucario. At first I tried making a Horus Pokemon but I couldn't get it to look good. And, thank you. Your compliments are what keeps me going.

Does Beamgoat have an pre-evolution?
Might I suggest the more...creative-sounding name Cabriton (cabrito, goat meat from a young goat + photon) for it? Bromaser (brόmos, the Greek word for the stench of he-goats, and maser) or Billaser? (billy goat + laser)
