Also, make it evolve from Baltoy, because it's Wealren that evolves into Poseidine, not Swelrus. Is it male only, too?

Okay, top one is official then. Unless lots of people happen to object. (You mean Baltoy) Yes, it's male only. Which is unique, since Baltoy is genderless. But in my hypothetical meta-game I think I'll get rid of "genderless" and make all Pokemon have gender.

Hey Alex, I started drawing Slopaint, and then I fainted the Lacklustre that was hiding behind the toaster, and I came up with three alternate formes. I hope that's okay... They are (and you'll see them tomorrow): Ghost/Dark "Oil Forme", Ghost/Grass "Natural Forme", and Ghost/Water "Watercolour Forme". They change Type and appearance based on their hold item: "Oil Paint" for Oil Forme, "Berry Paint" for Natural Forme, and "Watercolour Paint" for Watercolour Forme. I do hope this wasn't to AWOL from your plans... like I said, inspiration kicked in. I'll understand if you don't want me to post them (I did Slopaint and Lacklustre together as non-evolving Pokemon on an earlier page of my sketchbook, so I'll just post that one).

Also, here's a Slopaint sprite (I know, not very good, but hey, that's why I prefer off-computer drawing):

I don't mind, as I do think of Slopaint as being similar to Rotom.

I like them; I suppose they are based on more terrestrial toads such as spadefoot toads rather than the more aquatic frogs the Poli familiy is based on.

Really good, your Skulkraken is excellent and I also particularly like your Jackip and Anubark. You didn't really capture Leviatron very well though, especially the face and helmet which is too short. But otherwise really good, I appreciate it!

EDIT: Here's a new one, a bit of a strange one. I've had the idea of a dragon based on the night sky for a while.

PS. As a bonus challenge, try to create the "Politoed" to Pobrawl's Poliwrath. If I like it I'll make it official.

@Alex: I tried, I really did, to make Leviatron's helmet and face longer, but... Everything longer than that looked too comical, not sreious-and-deadly enough to really do justice to the concept behind Leviatron.

@Coolsteph: You're gonna make me blush! They're far from perfect... I still need to colour them and scan them in.

I really want to try my hand at the Aria Faeries and this new Astrake. And I also wanna do the Pobunk Politoed challenge... ARGH!! SO many I want to draw!

This is how I imagine Styrmling (Dragon Quest IX) would be like if it appeared, but there is only mention of it. Really nice concept art, I love every detail on its uh... animal back.

@Sov: I think the short stubby appearance you gave Leviatron makes it appear more comical and non-serious. So I'm really not a fan of that one. But that's okay, the other ones more than make up for it. I look forward to seeing your new ones too.

@Jigglyclops: Thanks. It did end up with some bizarre features on its back didn't it?! My original idea was just a long dragon with a dark body and stars on its side that flies in the night sky.

EDIT: When it was first discovered, this rare Pokemon was thought to be a hoax. It wasn't until an explorer/trainer was able to capture one that the sceptics were proven wrong.
