Decided my region was in need of a rock type. It's body is made of hard shiny pewter, and it has "punching gloves" made of ever harder pewter.

I suppose it is called Pewtear because it tears things apart or has rocky ears?

Because it tears things apart, yes. That was the original intention. Additionally, it's based on a bEAR.

Thanks for the fan art Coolsteph, it's great. (EDIT: Although something is off about Earwiggle and I just figured out what it is. You forgot his antennae!)

You're right, it does seem reminiscent of "Rubicante"... which is surprising since I had never heard of or seen him until you mentioned him and I Google searched him!

But what I found strikingly similar is that this one seems to have two "forms" as well, dependng on whether it opens (eng?) its cloak or not.

They are meant to attach to the head.

I'm not sure if the closed cloak and open cloak are different forms, or just different parts of the "sprite animation", like Confagrigus putting his arms and face in and out of his sarcophagus. I suppose they could be different forms, the open cloak form activated when HP is down to half. The closed cloak would have higher DEF and SP.DEF while the open cloak would have higher ATK and SP.ATK

Yeah, the other form idea is pretty cool

Here's some Pokemon that I made up ages ago, unlike all the other Pokemon in the dex so far which have been off the top of my head.
